This year’s FC Pro Open Global Qualifier features an abundance of elite talent from all over the world, and so we’ve highlighted three players who have the potential to advance to the FC Pro Open.
HHezerS
World Ranking: 16
Team: AC Monza
At his best, Italy’s HHezerS is a formidable opponent, especially when rivals fail to withstand his relentless attacks. HHezerS’s determination to focus entirely on scoring has made him a fan favourite, as his matches often turn into high-scoring affairs. A prime example would be his 15-5 victory over Virgil in the eSerie A TIM Finals. Played over two legs, he gave his opponent very little chance, punishing him 9-3 in their first match and then 6-2 in the second. Competing against him will be a tough challenge for anyone in the FC Pro Open Global Qualifier.
Jonny
World Ranking: 9
Team: VfL Bochum 1848 Esports
Jonny had an incredible year last season, earning trophies in multiple tournaments and solidifying his status as one of the most entertaining EA SPORTS FC players in the world.
His standout moment from last season was his dominant performance during the eChampions League 2024. The German defeated the likes of Matias Bonanno, Montaxer, KeturDylo, and levyfinn 5-2 in the eChampions League Final to lift the trophy and claim a share of the $281,000 prize pool.
If he can maintain the momentum he gained during the eChampions League, he’s a strong contender for the next stage of the competition.
nicolas99fc
World Ranking: 7
Team: Cloud9
Considered a legend and one of the greatest EA SPORTS FC players of all time after winning multiple trophies at club and international level during his career, nicolas99fc had a solid season last year. The Argentinian dominated last season’s LALIGA FC Pro, culminating in an emphatic 5-2 win over veteran player NachoAbella in the competition finals.
Nicolas reached this stage of the FC Pro Open Global Qualifier last season, only to be beaten by eLigue 1 Uber Eats mainstays Fouma and Leks during the playoffs. Now, he has the chance to avenge the disappointment of last season’s performance and progress one step closer to the FC Pro Open.
