The FC Pro Open is back with plenty of action from Group A. Number one-ranked EA SPORTS FC player Jafonso will be joined by xcharifx, NikSNEB, Mark11, FacuCowen, Stingray.

Round 1

Jafonso, the number one-ranked EA SPORTS FC™ player in the world, kicked off this year's FC Pro Open by scoring the opening goal of the tournament. The recently-signed Al Nassr Esports Mkers dominated NikSneb during their match, earning the first three points of his FC Pro 25 Open campaign.

xcharifx and Mark11 battled to a thrilling draw in their Round 1 game, with each of them showing their attacking prowess throughout the match.

Both players might feel disappointed in their efforts in defence, but their attacks more than made up for it. It was an entertaining game that was thrilling way to kick off Round 1 of the competition.

We backed the Round 2 match between Jafonso and xcharifx and it certainly didn't disappoint. Both players were able to showcase their talent, but Jafonso's non-stop pressure was simply too much for the Moroccan. Whenever xcharifx would regain the ball and try to take control, Jafonso was able to create a turnover and punish his opponent for his mistake.

Round 3

(17) FacuCowen 5-3 (1) Jafonso

Fans witnessed the first upset of this year's FC Pro Open as FacuCowen earned the victory against world number-one, Jafonso. Compared to Jafonso's previous opponents at the FC Pro Open, FacuCowen was able to carve open his opponent's defence with ease, taking the Esports World Cup winner down and giving him his first loss of the competition.

Round 4

(1) Jafonso 6-1 (26) Stingray

Jafonso continued his dominant run through Match Week 1 of the FC Pro Open, earning an impressive win over Stingray in their Round 4 match. Jafonso made it look easy against a very talented opponent, using precision passing to unlock his opponent's defence with ease.

However, the real key to Jafonso's victory came from his fantastic finishing, as every shot on target seemed to go past Stingray's goalkeeper.

Round 5

Xcharifx will head home disappointed following his performance during Match Week 1. His loss against FacuCowen in his final match will be a particularly tough pillow to swallow as the Argentine's goal came in the final second of their match.

The Moroccan will hope to bounce back when the participants from Group A return to competition after Christmas
