(3) Vejrgang vs (7) ManuBachoore
All eyes were on the highly anticipated clash between Vejrgang and ManuBachoore during Match Week 2, as the two rivals faced off in a battle for the top spot in their group.
This intense rivalry, which began during last season’s FC Pro Open, carried over into the current tournament, and their latest showdown didn’t disappoint. Both players showcased exceptional skill, but ManuBachoore’s relentless attack proved too much for Verjgang to handle, earning him an impressive 4-2 victory over the reigning FC Pro World Championship winner.
The stakes will be even higher in their rematch during Match Week 6. A win for either competitor will put them in prime position to secure a spot in the FC Pro Open Finals and the upcoming FC Pro World Championship, making this a must-watch matchup for fans. Expect a thrilling, high-stakes battle between two of the world’s best EA SPORTS FC™ players.
(22) The1OS vs (35) AboFawzi
It was a challenging evening for The1OS and AboFawzi during Match Week 2 of the FC Pro Open, as neither player delivered the performances needed to bolster their chances of reaching the FC Pro Open Finals.
While their progression to the next stage looks unlikely, a couple of wins—combined with favourable results elsewhere—could still shake up the group and keep their slim hopes alive.
Having already faced off in Match Week 2, where AboFawzi secured a 3-1 victory, the Twisted Minds teammates will need to put their friendship aside once again in the upcoming rounds. With both players currently sitting at the bottom of Group B, their rematch will be critical if either hopes to salvage their tournament ambitions.
(2) nicolas99fc vs (56) LJR Peixoto
FC Lorient’s LJR Peixoto heads into Match Week 6 of the FC Pro Open in a strong position, holding a qualification spot after earning an impressive nine points out of a possible 15 during Match Week 2.
Key to his success was wins over AboFawzi and The1OS, but the highlight of his run was a thrilling 5-4 victory against eChampions League 2022 winner Nicolas99fc.
Despite the setback, Nicolas99fc remains a formidable contender. With only a two-point gap separating him from LJR Peixoto, their rematch will carry high stakes. A win for either player could prove decisive in their quest for qualification.
