Danish EA SPORTS FC™ sensation Anders Vejrgang will be one of the favourites representing his country in the upcoming UEFA Euro 2024 tournament. Vejrgang is widely regarded as one of the best players in the world. He has made a name for himself in the FC community by scoring insane goals and creating memorable moments.

We’ve analysed his game and picked out three keys to his success in competition.

Smart runs

One thing that separates good FC players from their great competitors is their ability to take advantage of their runs and create chaos with their opponents' defence. Verjrgang excels at this during most of his matchups, which is part of why he scores so many goals.

The run that led to the goal was perfect, as he was able to isolate the defender and get on the wrong side of him, helping him increase his chances of scoring significantly.

Cross Cancel

Putting the ball into the box with a cross has been one of the most effective ways for pro players to score throughout the season. However, with so many doing it, it allows players like Vejrgang to take advantage of their opponent’s fear.

By faking the cross when his opponent expects him to do the opposite, he’s able to spot a player with a simple pass with only the goalkeeper to beat in the end.

Patient Passing

Patience in key moments is one of Vejrgang’s most important qualities as a player. Some of the game’s best players have fumbled when the pressure is on, but Vejrgang has done a fantastic job of keeping his composure.

Most players would’ve attempted to smash the ball in this moment, but the Dane has the game IQ to pass it to a player in a better position.
