Donovan 'Tekkz' Hunt has officially joined ePremier League giants Manchester City for the 23-24 campaign - and will spearhead the club's efforts to regain the title this year.

The 22-year-old is one of the biggest stars in esports, having previously won the eClub World Cup and eChampions League - while taking his tally of FUT Champs Cups to five last season.

After making a high-profile switch to Manchester City this month, inaugural ePremier League Champion Tekkz said: “This is one of my favourite competitions in the esports calendar and I’m buzzing to represent Manchester City this season.

"To join the club on the back of their Treble-winning season on the pitch is a huge honour and I’m determined to win the club their second ePL title. I know this won’t be easy, the level of competition is extremely high, but I am ready to take on the challenge!”

Tekkz was also keen to mention his new teammate, Mathias Bonanno, and how the pair can help propel City to great heights this season.

Speaking of the current eLa Liga champion, who moved to City from Real Betis, Tekkz said: “I think our play styles complement each other well so I’m confident we can challenge for a handful of titles together."

The Englishman has also enjoyed success on the international stage, representing England since 2021. During that time, he helped his country place first in the eNations Cup 2021 EU Qualifiers.

Away from competing against fellow professional EA Sports FC players, Tekkz has faced the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Raheem Sterling, Declan Rice, and Diogo Jota.

He also has a large following online that includes close to 850k YouTube subscribers, 420k Twitch followers, nearly 300k Instagram followers, and almost 200k Twitter followers.
