Seanldw: Vejrgang's offence is 'unstoppable'
The German player currently sits third in Group C of the FC Pro Open, having beaten AntoniniGabirel in Match Week 3.

Match Week 3 of the FC Pro Open was one to remember for Vejrgang and Abumakkah, who currently lie first and second in Group C - having accrued 10 and 9 points respectively.

And yet, while both are heavy favourites to advance to the , third-placed seanldw will still fancy his chances of sneaking into the top two qualification spots.

With four points to his name from the first four games, it is a tough ask, especially given how imperious the current leaders have been thus far.

Verjgang has been particularly impressive in the FC Pro Open, with his only dropped points coming against reigning world champion Manubachoore.

In order for seanldw to advance, he'll likely need a big win against either Verjgang or Abumakkah when Group C resumes in January.

Having been competitive against the Dane in a 5-3 defeat on Monday, the Bayer star knows better than most just how much quality Verjrang possesses.

Heaping priase on the RBLZ Gaming star, Sean said on Monday night: "Offensively, Verjgang is unstoppable."

He added: "Vejrgang plays 4-2-3-1, he's a possession player, he doesn't rush.

"For me, Anders [Vejrgang] can win every game."

This isn't to say that the German is not confident about progressing, however.

On the contrary, as having already beaten AntoniniGabriel, and earned a draw against ManuBachoore, he knows he can do so once again - and put pressure on the group leaders in the process.

"I think my chances [of progressing] are good, against AntoniniGabriel, if I play like this again I can win again."

"Bachoore was a draw, maybe with a bit of luck I can also win."

Of all the FC Pro Draft selections from Group C, seanldw's was - by some distance - the most talked about.

With each player only able to select Icon cards within a budget of 9 million coins, he was the only person in Group C to pick Ferenc Puskas, David Beckham, Emmanuel Petit and George Best.

In an interview following his win over AntoniniGabriel on Monday, he explained his reasoning: "I chose Puskas because I play him left striker, and I need a left-footed player there.

"And also, Charlton played left-midfield because he has the power shot plus. And also, the dribbling, pace, shooting and passing is above 90.

"And then I had to get some cheaper players in the team, like Petit and Beckham, it was nearly impossible to get a good player in every position [due to the restrictions]."

Time will tell whether the German rising star's unorthodox approach to squad selection pays off, but heading into the new year, he's still well in the fight for the FC Pro Open Finals.
