After eight weeks of gripping FC Pro Open action, we now know which players will contest the Finals, with one going on to win the first-ever edition this Saturday.
But with the Group Stages now complete, it felt right to look back at some of the biggest and best moments that took place in the FC Pro Open from the beginning of November to the end of January.
Whether they be unbelievable performances, nerve-wracking deciders, or moments of sheer elation, they each made the inaugural competition one to remember.
Here then, are some of the moments that defined this season's FC Pro Pro Open Group Stage.
Emre Yilmaz and Umut show their quality
We begin with a match between the two standouts in Group A - Umut and Emre Yilmaz.
Regarded as two of the best players in the world, their opening-round clash in Group A was always set to deliver excitement - and boy did it deliver.
The back-and-forth contest ended 4-4, a fair reflection of how evenly matched the game was - and perhaps of how well-matched they are overall.
While it was 2023 eChampions League winner Emre Yilmaz who narrowly won Group A in the end, both players eased into the Finals with games to share.
Tekkz's stunning 9-0 win keeps his Finals hopes alive
Heading into Match Week 8, Man City star Tekkz was sitting bottom of Group D without a win to his name. Qualification looked almost impossible: that was until the goals started flying in against The1OS.
A 9-0 drubbing over his nearest rival in the group saw Tekkz overturn a -8 goal difference in an instance - and thus give himself a slim chance of climbing into the top two.
In the end, a draw with Obrun ended his hopes of qualifying, but his Round 6 win on Monday evening very nearly kick-started the greatest comeback in Esports history. Needless to say, his 9-0 win will live long in the memory of those who witnessed it.
Group B qualification goes to the wire
Group B was, by far and away, the most competitive of any in this season's FC Pro Open. Heading into the penultimate Round of Match Week 6, four players were all tied on 11 points, still in with a chance of reaching the Finals.
As it transpired, PHzin sealed his place in the Finals after securing a nervy 6-5 win over Bonanno in Round 9, but for Young, he'd have to sweat over his top two spot until the dying seconds of his last match.
In his Round 10 clash with Bonanno, Young had to win by three goals more in order to safely qualify for the Finals. Failure to do so would hand the place to Bonanno's compatriot, FacuCowen.
In the end, Young clung on to a famous 6-3 win, qualifying on goals scored alone - with the two South Americans level on GD. Cue emotional Brazilian celebrations between the best friends and their coaches.
Vejrgang goalkeeping masterclass
Vejrgang's unbeaten run in Group C sent shockwaves around the world of Esports, but amid the fanfare over his record, one remarkable aspect of his game seems to have been forgotten.
Indeed, his unbeaten record may not exist without his incredible goalkeeper movement in his Round 3 clash with AbuMakkah. The Saudi player had an abundance of guilt-edged chances in front of goal, but somehow, staggeringly good keeper movement from Vejrgang kept the scoreline down.
As a result, the Dane secured a hard-fought 2-1 win, one of the lowest scoreline recorded in the FC Pro Open Group Stage so far.
In years gone by, much was made of Vejrgang's almost unstoppable offensive play, but as Sir Alex Ferguson once remarked, it's the defence which wins you titles. The RBLZ Gaming star might now be the complete package.
Obrun and Fouma's Final Round playoff
Both Obrun and Fouma made sure that the FC Pro Open Group Stages didn't end on a damp squib, as the final game in Group D proved to be a corker with everything on the line.
Separated by one point heading into their Round 10 clash, it was effectively a playoff for the Finals - a winner-takes-all scenario.
Having defeated Tekkz in the previous round, ending the Englishman's hopes of qualifying in the process, Obrun seemed to have the momentum on his side.
And yet, in the crunch game, he certainly didn't have it all his own way, as the Italian needed an 80th-minute winner to make sure of his place in Saturday's Finals.
A 4-3 win over Fouma was just enough to finish second in Group D, and set up an intriguing Quarter-final with Group A winner Emre Yilmaz.
Honourable mentions
There are plenty of other notable moments that are worthy of honourable mentions. After all, who could forget Tekkz's ridiculous overhead kick with Virgil van Dijk? Or when Vejrgang quite literally silenced the doubters.
And, last but not least, a word to the participants of Group B, who surely set a record for the most shouts of 'Vamossss' in an Esports tournament. One suspects we'll be hearing plenty more on Saturday.
Don't forget, the Finals get underway at 4pm on Saturday. You can watch live on YouTube and Twitch, as well as follow all the latest news and reaction on X. We'll see you then!
