
It’s been an exciting journey for fans who have been watching this year’s eMLS season.. Following two breathtaking League Series events, we’re now one step closer to crowning a new eMLS Cup champion and seeing two more players qualify for the EA SPORTS FC Pro World Championship.
The likes of Paulo Neto, JAFONSO, Diogo, and Ollelito have all impressed during League Series 1 and 2, but how did they and the rest of the finalists get to this stage? Here’s our recap of the season so far, so you’re up-to-date on everything that’s happened before the games begin.

eMLS League Series 1
Paulo Neto has been a dominant figure in the eMLS throughout his career, having won three of them before this season. The Brazilian continued to find more success during LS1, defeating the likes of JAFONSO and Ollelito in the playoffs before crushing Diogo 5-1 in the final.

eMLS League Series 2
Portuguese star JAFONSO ran through the competition in impressive fashion, leaving no doubt that he will be a serious threat in the eMLS Cup. The New England Revolution player scored 18 goals in the playoffs, culminating in a 5-2 victory over current eMLS Cup Champion, NR7 in the final.
