Dec 5, 2020

EA SPORTS and CONMEBOL are proud to announce details for the much-anticipated first edition of the CONMEBOL eLibertadores* after the suspension of the event last season due to the impact of COVID-19 around the world.

This new tournament will expand the EA SPORTS FIFA 21 Global Series and offer players and football fans based in South America a new way to engage with their favorite footballers and connect to the CONMEBOL Libertadores through elite esports competition. CONMEBOL eLibertadores will build upon the league’s reputation of providing best-in-class South American football, extending the excitement and thrill for its passionate fanbase via the virtual pitch. The competition also creates even more opportunities for our EA SPORTS FIFA players to become champions.

In its inaugural edition, players can compete for a prize pool of $100,000 USD, and the Top three players from each platform will get direct seats on the South American Playoff.  Think you have what it takes to lift the trophy on behalf of your favorite football team? Keep reading to find out how you can become the first-ever CONMEBOL eLibertadores Champion.
