NEW FEATURES

SPECTATOR MODE

Engage with matches and your League in a new way with our newly introduced Spector Mode available in this April 2024 update! Spectator Mode is a brand new addition to Leagues where you can watch Head to Head matches within your League in real-time & share the replays. Below is what you can expect from this new addition to EA SPORTS FC™ Mobile:

League Matches:

Leagues will have a new addition called League Matches! In this new game mode, you can challenge your very own League members to H2H Matches, spectate League Matches in real-time, and watch their replays for up to a week post match.

Get Notified:

When an H2H match from your league is initiated, you’ll now see a notification on the home screen! From there, you’ll be able to accept the challenge or spectate the match live.

Spectate a League Match:

While a match is in progress, join in the excitement and watch your League mates settle the score on the pitch. To make the experience more immersive, these options will be available in the Viewing Settings:

Toggle between 5 different camera angles
Show the Player Cursor for a single team, both teams or none
Mini-map display
In-match commentary

Replays:

Whether you missed the live action or want to relive the moment, replay matches from the League Match hub once they’re complete! In addition to League Matches, any H2H matches can be shared with your League. Anyone in your League will be able to watch the Replay for up to 7 days.

3D PLAYER ITEM

You may already be familiar with the 3D Gyroscope Player Items we’ve added before. We’re now adding where these can be seen to two additional places within FC Mobile.

3D Gyroscope Player Items now show off their 3D effect in pack opening and goal-scoring animations!

We hope that you’ll enjoy this visual feature showing up in other parts of the game.

EA ACCOUNT LOGIN

We’re introducing another way for you to link or log into FC Mobile that will allow you to save your game progress! EA Account will be a new option overage players can choose among the existing options available when logging in for the first time.

Already have an account? You’ll also be able to link your FC Mobile account to the EA Account anytime through the Settings page.

In addition to a new way to login to EA SPORTS FC™ Mobile and save your game progress, a new Quest for linking your EA account can be completed for the following rewards: x1000 Gems, 91 OVR Mascherano, and an EA Logo.

EA Account became available starting April 9th UTC in limited regions and will roll out to additional regions throughout April.

AUDIO

For the April release, we’ve made some additions and changes to the in-game audio to create a more immersive sound experience.

All new team chants: 70+ New Teams added, and 100+ teams refreshed.
Post-match replay highlights audio: To bring you a more immersive and realistic experience, we’ve added the following: background music, crowd reactions, and stadium announcer commentary.

LANGUAGE

We’re adding Vietnamese as a language in the game. If Vietnamese is your preferred language, you’ll be able to select it as your in-game language through Settings.

GAMEPLAY

In recent months, we have been reviewing and absorbing the feedback from our community to identify the most sought-after enhancements for this release, and we’re excited to share what you can expect in this latest release.

The central focus of this Gameplay Update is to enhance the effectiveness of Passing and responsiveness of Dribbling, while also elevating the smoothness of player movement to bring better build-up play and more scoring opportunities in matches. At the same time, we have reassessed the impact of wing crosses and adjusted the defensive responses to them for better balance.

PASSING

Passing has been improved to make passing more reliable and effective:

Ground Passes: Improvements have been made so that your directed passes will now better avoid opponent defenders.
Ground Through Passes: This has been adjusted to lead your players further ahead as you advance across the pitch

PLAYER MOVEMENT

With the latest update, you will notice movement of your players feels smoother and more responsive due to the following improvements:

Faster Job Dribble Speed: Players will have a higher speed when not sprinting.
Dynamic Sprint Dribble: Players will push the ball further ahead on the first few touches to get up to high speed, after which they will return to shorter interval touches for tighter control.
Improved Deceleration Curve: Every player in motion without the ball can now slow down faster and react to the play happening around them, reducing the likelihood of players getting stuck backpedaling and ball-watching as often as before.

CROSSES

You can expect a lot of adjustments in this release around crossing accuracy and effectiveness:

Player Crossing Attributes: The quality, accuracy, and speed of the cross will better reflect your player’s attributes.
Positioning: The positioning of your player will play a bigger role in determining your crosses' accuracy.
Crossing Speed: The speed has been slightly reduced to allow for defenders to better react to crosses and clear them more often.

QUALITY OF LIFE CHANGES

There are so many more improvements made to gameplay in addition to Passing, Crossing, and Player Movement for you to check out:

Auto Switch Move Assist Enhancements:

Improved defense in air ball situations for better marking of attacking players.
Assisted switch continues during the player transition until full control is gained.

Skippable Replays:

Now, you can skip Goal and Offside Replays in Head to Head matches for a quicker return to gameplay.

New Replay Camera Angles:

Added two new replay angles for a more exciting review of major moments.

VS Attack Basic Chances Adjustment:

Made all VS Attack Basic Chances more challenging to reflect differences in opportunities across matches.

Manager Mode Shot Power Update:

Adjusted shot power and speed in Manager Mode for more realistic shots based on attributes.

Substitutions Menu Accessibility:

Enabled direct access to substitutions from the menu for quicker decision-making without missing on-field action.

BUG FIXES

Fixed an issue where some players would not jump or jump too early in two-player header situations.
Fixed an issue where headed passes would be looping up. Headed passing trajectories are now lower and more effective.
Fixed an issue of the Free Kick camera not resetting after a shot or pass made contact with an opposing player.
Fixed an issue of Gesture Passes overshooting on deep Free Kicks or Goal Kick.
Fixed an issue of the Set Piece Camera preference not being saved for Corner Kicks, deep Free Kicks and Goal Kicks.

OTHER IMPROVEMENTS AND BUG FIXES

We’ve made some improvements and fixes in these areas:

Trade Market, Exchanges, and Training:

We’re removing the quick sell button from the Trade Market to prevent individuals from accidentally discarding their player items.
Added better visibility of the price of each player item selected as training materials or player exchanges for more informed decision-making before consuming high-value items.
Removed Substitute Players from selection in Training, and greyed out in Exchanges and Rankup to prevent consuming those items accidentally.
Introducing new Exchange conditions based on cumulative OVR.

Bug Fixes:

Fixed various crashes and reduced in-game network errors.
Fixed an issue with downloading commentary where an insufficient storage popup would appear if the download was paused.
