Beyond the FIFA 18 World Cup Reveal Trailer
The world's biggest sporting event is coming soon to EA SPORTS™ FIFA 18. Millions of fans around the world are getting together to cheer on their nation, and everybody is invited to experience the FIFA World Cup their way in the free FIFA 18 update. FIFA 18 cover star Cristiano Ronaldo took the lead in this video, preparing himself for yet another massive tournament. After leading Portugal to glory in the 2016 European Championship, the world's best footballer is heading to the world's biggest tournament in search of the greatest trophy. Ronaldo can be seen preparing for the various scenes in this video, along with exclusive storyboards that give an insight into different aspects of the video's production.
Notable influencers and actors also play a major part in the trailer, each repping their countries. London native AJ Tracey donned an England kit with Marcus Rashford's name, but he couldn't help but gush over being in the presence of a superstar like Ronaldo. “It's wicked to be on set with Cristiano Ronaldo, but I'm kind of hoping we don't come against him in the World Cup,” AJ said. German YouTuber Luca, aka “ConCrafter,” sported a Germany kit emblazoned with the name of star striker Thomas Müller. “I'm playing Thomas Muller in this commercial, he stands for Germany like no one else.”
The World Cup is an inclusive global event, something that the cast had no problem communicating. Yoseline Hoffman, a popular influencer from Mexico, emphasized how important the World Cup is for her community. “What I like most about the World Cup is, people get together and you are all shouting for your team, your country. I like that the country gets together.”
Meet the cast:
AJ Tracey is a 24-year-old West London rapper who joined Stormzy and Skepta on the world stage in 2018. A diehard Tottenham supporter, AJ has become renowned for his love of the sport: when he’s not on tour or in the studio, he’s playing FIFA. He frequently references his favorite players in his lyrics and also appears alongside them at events. Yoseline Hoffman (YosStop) is a Mexican vlogger, actress, and producer of original content on YouTube and other social networks. She is one of the top influencers in Mexico and Latin America with 20M+ followers across her social networks, including her two YouTube channels: Yosstop (7.2M+ subscribers) and JustYoss (4.4M+ subscribers). She’s the writer, producer, and actress of her own series, which has received awards at many festivals around the world.

Mario Alonso (DjMariiO) is the most well-known FIFA YouTuber in Spain and one of the most popular in Latin America with more than 3.7M subscribers on his channel. He has filmed videos with footballers like Lionel Messi, Fernando Torres, Luis Suarez, and Cristiano Ronaldo. His livestream of this year's FUT Team of the Year peaked at more than 150,000 live viewers from around the world.
