Development Update
Greetings Ring-bearers,
It’s been a little while since we’ve updated you about how Heroes of Middle-earth has been going. We wanted to take the opportunity to give you the rundown as to how the project is progressing and what you can expect.
As you may have noticed, we’ve slowed down on the number of releases for Heroes of Middle-earth. Ever since we soft launched HoMe back in July we’ve been reading and soaking up all the feedback that you, the players, have been giving us which we deeply appreciate.
Right now, we have an opportunity to take a breath and re-evaluate. We want to take this time to significantly improve the experience based on your feedback and create something that really captures the essence of The Lord of the Rings. This process will take a bit of time and as a result of us shoring up and improving things there will be less frequent updates for the time being.
We don’t intend to rush this process of reflection and internal action, especially as we factor in the crucial community feedback received so far. We want you to love HoMe as much as we do, and set up both the game itself and players for years to come for the best experience we can give.We’re immensely grateful for the feedback you’ve provided so far as it will play a critical role in shaping HoMe.
In the near future, we’ll be showing you the results of our changes as updates roll out. You may potentially see changes to how the game looks, the early game experience as well as character changes. As always, we welcome your feedback as we endeavor to be agile and take action on your suggestions.
We want to do justice to our players presently and in the future. Thank you for your understanding and patience as we embark on this journey together. HoMe’s development and the team is still very much on track and in a healthy state and we can’t wait to show you what we’re up to!
