The Give and Go: Trending Players

Hello, NBA LIVE Mobile Community!

Welcome to NBA LIVE Mobile Give & Go! In this first segment of NBA LIVE Mobile Segment of the Give & Go we will take a sneak peek of our newest addition to NBA LIVE Mobile and what’s to come next.

Trending Players

Some of the biggest moments from throughout this season will now be available in LIVE Mobile. Starting Feb. 1^st, we will showcase a player who has created a buzz in the NBA this season and make that card available in a Trending Pack and Bundle! On Saturday, Jan. 25^th, our first Trending Player was LeBron James who became the 3^rd All-Time leading scorer in NBA history. Lebron’s card can be purchased now in the app store.

Moving forward, each player that is trending will be available for a limited time until another player has a breakout performance and takes over that spot. Trending players will be broken into different categories such as: Trendsetter, Standout Performer, Milestones, Trades & Signings and Breakout Performer. Players in these categories can fluctuate depending on the week the player has.

Two new Trending sets have been added to the Front Office tab and there is now a chance at a Trending token or player in the packs tab.

Trendsetter- Black Cards

These players have had 3 or more Standout Performances this season. Trendsetters influence the game and are therefore the top reactionary card in Trending.

Standout Performer- Blue Cards

These players went off in game on any given night and tend to show out on a more regular basis. Standouts are just a few steps away from becoming Trendsetters. 

Milestones- Purple Cards

These players have set a record or passed a major career milestone. The Trending Milestone card will stand to commemorate that career highlight.

Trades & Signings- Orange Cards

These players changed teams in a trade or signed with a new team or re-signed a contract extension with the original team.

Breakout Performer- Green Cards

These players have had a performance that most did not see coming. Whether it be a surprising buzzer beater or a 30-40+ point game, a Trending Breakout player will be created. If a Breakout Performer continues to prove that they are here to stay, they will eventually get a Trending Standout Performer look.
