• Need for Speed No Limits - FAQ on Bans, Suspensions, and Restrictions All you need to know about account safety and avoiding restrictions or suspensions

    Suspension vs Ban

    • Suspension: We’ll remove your access to parts of the game or the entire game when we notice activity on your EA Account that goes against our Rules of Conduct. Suspensions can vary in length depending on the severity of the violation. You can be suspended for a minimum of 7 days and a maximum of 365 days. If you are suspended, the in-game suspension message mentions days you do not have access to the game.
    • Ban: We’ll remove your access to the entire game due to repeated or severe violations of our User Agreement. Account bans are typically permanent.

    Why was I banned?

    • We’ll ban, suspend, or sanction accounts when we see any inappropriate content or evidence of cheating. We’ll also take action against any account that posts vulgar, threatening, or harassing content in any EA game or on any EA website.
    • Cheating includes, but isn’t limited to:
      • Using third-party software and other similar cheats to gain an unfair advantage over other players
      • Performing in-game exploits or abusing glitches or bugs
      • Stat padding (abusing game features in an unintended manner to artificially stack on scores)
    • To avoid your account being banned or suspended, please review how to play positively and be aware of how your actions can harm others. Always follow the Rules of Conduct in EA’s User Agreement.

Can my suspension/ ban be removed?

    • Your suspension will automatically get removed after the number of days mentioned in the in-game suspension message. You can reach out to EA Help to appeal your suspension/ ban.

How can I avoid future bans/suspensions?

What happens if I get banned again?

    • Repeated cheating will lead to stricter consequences. Repeat violations may lead to longer suspensions or permanent account bans.

    What are the restrictions?

    Restrictions include:

    • Removing access to game modes
      • Limited Time Series
      • Underground Rivals
    • Removal from Underground Rivals Leaderboards
    • Resetting VIP Levels
    • Removing access to the game

Someone else was playing from my account.

    • You are responsible for safeguarding your EA account. Actions against an account will remain in place irrespective of the people accessing it.

My actions didn't deserve a ban/ I was wrongly suspended. What should I do?

    • If you think the lock, ban, or suspension on your NFSNL Account was a mistake, you can appeal the decision. To appeal, reach out to EA Help. Provide relevant details and any evidence to support your claim. Your case will be sent to our dedicated team for review. You can expect an email from noreply@ea.com about your case within 10 days, though sometimes it takes longer.

I see cheaters but they never get banned, what do I do? / Other player was acting worse than me

    • We use a set of rules, which are periodically updated, to detect cheating and violations of our User Agreement for everyone playing our game. If you encounter suspicious behavior in-game, please use the “Report” option in Underground Rivals to highlight such instances to our team.

Will I be notified before getting banned?

    • In some cases, we will issue warnings or restrictions for minor infractions. However, severe violations may result in immediate bans without prior notice.

Where can I find more information about Terms of Service or Rules of Conduct?

    • Terms of Service and Rules of Conduct are available in the app settings and on our official website. It's important to review it periodically for any updates.
