Need for Speed Payback Heads to EA Play

We're still trying to recover from the announcement of Need for Speed Payback, but there's no time to sit around. Our bags are packed and the rental cars are booked - it's time for EA Play!

Set beneath the Hollywood hills, EA Play is the event that revolves around you: our players. Taking place June 10-12th it'll be the place to see and learn all about EA's newest games, including of course, Need for Speed Payback.

If you're going to be in Hollywood yourself then great, we look forward to seeing you there! If you can't make it in person then we've got your back. We'll have a 90 minute show streamed live from Hollywood on EA.com featuring all the news and latest trailers. You won't want to miss it

What to Expect?

In one word: gameplay. We know you've been itching to see how NFS Payback plays ever since you watched the trailer last week. Well don't sweat it, we're not going to keep you waiting. On June 10th at EA Play you'll get to see Need for Speed Payback in action, it's going to be explosive. Trust us, you don't want to miss it!

Of course, seeing stuff from our own hands is all well and good but what about those burning questions you'll have: How does it handle? What's the frame rate like? Do the cars sound good? Well, luckily for you there will be plenty of content creators at EA Play, both capturing content and live streaming direct from the show floor.

It wouldn't be Need for Speed without customization and creating some sweet looking rides. We'll be letting those in attendance experience the very first glimpses of customization in NFS Payback, including the brand new garage. Be sure to keep your eye out for that content hitting your YouTube feed very soon.

We did say you wouldn't want to miss it.

While we'd love each and every one of you reading this to come to EA Play and enjoy NFS Payback with us, we understand that's sadly not going to be possible. Don't worry though, we'll be live from the show floor throughout the entire show, bringing you as close to the experience as possible.

We'll be posting live from Hollywood across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram so regardless of where you call home on the Internet, we'll have you covered.

Before we sign off, we just wanted to drop a note to say thank you for the overwhelming support of the last few days. The feedback and positivity we've been seeing for NFS Payback has been over whelming and we couldn't be happier. Rest assured there's still plenty more to come, starting in just a few days time.
