NHL 14 - Cover Reveal
For the first time since NHL ’97, a goalie will be the face of the EA SPORTS NHL franchise. And that goalie will be New Jersey Devils netminder Martin Brodeur, who defeated Sergei Bobrovsky to take the NHL 14 cover.
Add EA SPORTS NHL cover athlete to Brodeur’s impressive hockey resume, which includes: three Stanley Cups, four Vezina Trophies, and two Olympic Gold Medals, among other accomplishments.
With over 22 million votes, the second annual EA SPORTS NHL Cover Vote campaign was a huge success. Here is what Brodeur had to say about the honor of being selected by fans:
“The support I’ve received throughout the cover vote campaign has been incredible,” said Brodeur. “My kids pushed me to participate in the campaign, and they are really excited to see their dad on the cover of the game they play all the time. I want to thank all the NHL fans who campaigned and voted for me.”
