NHL 15 - Power Rankings
The EA SPORTS NHL team has looked at all 30 teams and ranked them based on their performances during the month of March.
We'll be updating our Power Rankings throughout the regular season, so be sure to check back monthly. You can also share your thoughts on Facebook and Twitter.
These rankings are based on games played up to March 26, 2015.

The Rangers are rockin’ and look to be the odds-on favorite to win it all this June.

In a year when goals come at a premium, the Lightning have them in spades. They’ve been at the top of these rankings all season for good reason.

Last Month's Rank: 4
This is the team that no one wants to play come the post season. With Kevin Shattenkirk set to return, the Blues will be even more dangerous.

Even without Patrick Kane, the Blackhawks are playing like an elite force. With Patrick Sharp out of his slump, this team is going to be a lot to handle come the playoffs.

The Ducks will only go as far as John Gibson and Fredrik Anderson can take them.

In a matter of months, the Wild have gone from wildcard longshots to Stanley Cup contenders…they are playing that good.

It’s been a remarkable run for Andrew Hammond and the Senators. The streak had to end eventually, but they have put themselves in a great spot to grab that final wildcard spot in the Eastern Conference.

Don’t look now but it appears the Preds are having a bit of trouble scoring goals. Not good news heading into the most important stretch of the season.

Ovechkin will once again take home the individual hardware this offseason, but the real question is can he carry this team deep into the post season?

The return of Pavel Datsyuk will help the Red Wings get back on track.

Finally healthy, the Canucks look poised to finish second in the Pacific division and should have home ice advantage in the first round of the playoffs.

The Jets are making a hard push for that final playoff spot in the West thanks to the surprising play of Ondrej Pavelec in goal.

Since the return of Kyle Okposo, the Islanders have only won once in their last seven games.

Whether they make the playoffs or not, the future looks very bright for the Flames.

Thanks in large part to the return of Tyler Seguin, the Stars have been one of the hottest teams in the month of March. It’s too late for them to make a legitimate playoff run, but finishing strong can have a positive effect on this group going into next season.

The Blue Jackets are playing like the team we expected at the start of the season, there is still long term potential with this group.

You have to feel for Cory Schneider. He’s been playing outstanding all season, but just doesn’t have enough support in front of him.

Losing top goal scorer Wayne Simmonds to a broken leg is the cherry on top of a disappointing season.

The Oilers look like a revitalized team with Todd Nelson behind the bench. With the powerplay clicking, they have become a fun team to watch.

They play hard every night, but just don’t have the horses to get the job done.

They are in desperate need of a cornerstone forward to help support Oliver Ekman-Larsson on the backend.

The worst part is that their fall may not be big enough to land the two biggest prizes this offseason.

Their goal differential at this point in the season is an astounding -107. To put that in perspective, the Toronto Maple Leafs are at -44.
