NHL 16 – EA Access Free Play Days

From June 12 until June 22, NHL 16 is free for all Xbox Live Gold members through EA Access. There is no better time to experience modes like EASHL, Be a GM and Hockey Ultimate Team. Want in on the action? Simply download the EA Access app on your Xbox One.

In addition to making the game available to Xbox Live Gold members, we have a few things happening in Hockey Ultimate Team that players on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 can enjoy.

Here are just a few of the cool things happening in-game:

All Gold Starter Packs

Everyone who creates a team in HUT will receive a Gold Starter Pack. This pack is a significant upgrade to our Standard Starter Pack and gives you a competitive team immediately. After you set your lineup, compete in our various modes, including Sing Player Seasons and Online Seasons. For more on HUT, check out our Ultimate Guide.

99-Overall John Scott

If you play the Team of the Week between June 12 and 14, you will receive a special-edition, untradeable 99-overall John Scott Item. Win or lose, complete a game against the TOTW and that item is yours. The granting of the 99-overall John Scott item happens on June 16.
