In his first full NHL season, Connor McDavid led the Edmonton Oilers to their first Stanley Cup Playoffs appearance since 2006. The 20-year-old Connor McDavid led the NHL in scoring with 100 points to capture his first Hart Trophy as the 2017 NHL MVP and becomes the 3rd youngest player to win be named the NHL MVP.
