The greatest defenseman in NHL History, Bobby Orr has made his way into NHL 24! This is his first appearance in a hockey video game ever, and we’re honored to be able to include him in this year's title.

Base Item: To celebrate the arrival of Bobby Orr to NHL 24, a base Bobby Orr player item will be available in the HUT store in a complementary HUT pack for all players who log in before January 2nd, 2024. So, make sure to login and claim yours!

Gallery of Greats Event: As part of the Gallery of Greats event you can earn a Bobby Orr Power Up Player item by trading in all 10 of the events Power-Up player items.
HUT Moments: Play through two Bobby Orr themed moments featuring some of his greatest career highlights. These include his seven point game (breaking the record for most points by a defenseman in a single game), as well as his iconic Stanley Cup winning goal in overtime against the St. Louis Blues.
As a Boston Bruin for 10 seasons, Bobby Orr helped lead the team to the playoffs eight consecutive years and to two Stanley Cups in 1970 and 1972, in which he famously scored the championship-winning goal in sudden death overtime (1970) and was also awarded the Conn Smythe Trophy as MVP both years. In October 2023, the Boston Bruins announced that Orr made the All-Centennial Team, composed of the 20 most legendary players in franchise history, and in celebration, Bruins uniforms will be available in the store for all World of Chel players to claim until January 2nd, 2024.
Alumni Team and Ratings: Bobby Orr will be a part of the Boston Bruins Alumni Team and is tied with Wayne Gretzky as the highest-rated player in the game at 97 Overall.
Players can reassign Bobby Orr in the ‘create team’ or ‘edit rosters page’, then put him on a team that can be taken into Franchise Mode.
