• Summer Nights Bring a New Legendary Upgrade and More in PvZ: Battle for Neighborville Things heat up in PvZ: Battle for Neighborville’s Summer Nights Festival.

A super-cool counterpart to those hot summer days, the Summer Nights Festival is breezing in with a new Prize Map and Legendary Upgrade for Super Brainz! Revel in the glittery glow of fireworks and fairy lights in Giddy Park. Then put those Prize Bulbs to use as you cruise through the Prize Map, earning fun costumes, customizations, and more.

From July 1 – August 2, earn prizes so hot you’ll need extra SPF, like the Common Solar Eclipse costume for Sunflower at the mid-way point. Earn the Legendary Metal Head costume for Super Brainz when you take a single path to the end of the map and earn the Legendary Midas Tough costume for Super Brainz when you complete the entire map. Plus, earn the Brainium Basher 9001 Legendary Upgrade for Super Brainz!

Wait, what’s a Legendary Upgrade, you ask? As a reminder, a Legendary Upgrade is a combination of a Legendary costume paired with a themed upgrade that adds a new layer of gameplay and strategy for a character. With the Brainium Basher 9001, you’ll hold [FIRE] to charge up a close- to medium-range dashing attack and press [AIM] to launch an upwards strike attack that lifts enemies off the ground! This Legendary Upgrade will be available in the Prize Map until August 2. After that, you can purchase it with Rainbow Stars in Rux’s Emporium.

Want some tips on how to super-charge Super Brainz with the Brainium Basher 9001? Here are a couple things to keep in mind:

    • Brainium Basher 9001 makes Super Brainz very mobile, but reduces his range.
    • The charge attack can be really powerful, but it also makes Super Brainz vulnerable if you use it out in the open.
    • Brainium Basher 9001’s upwards strike is a great finisher after hit-confirming with the charge attack.

That’s the news for now but stay tuned – we have more updates coming this month! Until then, stay cool Neighborvillians! We’ll see you in Giddy Park.
