Rocketball Game Mechanics & Objectives

Throw, run, or blast the RocketBall into the opponent’s goal to score. First team to 5 goals, or the most goals within the time limit wins.

Rocketball Mode Strategy

• Coordinate with your team to play defense or to go long for a big pass!
• While holding the Rocketball, you can’t use your hero’s special ability. However, you can throw the ball and then use it to perform mid-air catches! 
• Remember that Rocket Arena is all about impulsing players. Try attacking enemies standing near their goal to impulse them away before throwing the ball.
• You can shoot the Rocketball while it’s in the air. This can be used to deflect the ball on defense or to impulse the Rocketball farther after throwing it.
• If you are going to be KO’d or the ball is deep into your side of the map, you can throw the ball out to reset it to the middle.

Best Heroes for Rocketball

• Plink, Flux, Izell, Rev, and Amphora have great mobility abilities that lend themselves well to offensive play. Blastbeard and Boone have special abilities that are great for defense.
