Blastbeard Basic tips
- The arc of Blastbeard’s Rocket Cannonballs (Primary) can make it difficult to land long range shots, so you are most dangerous when in close range of your enemies.
- You can hold the Charged Anchor (Secondary) input to prevent the anchor from firing. You can hold a Charged Anchor indefinitely.
- Blastbeard’s Shockwave (Special) halts all of his momentum and resets his air jump count. Use this to recover safely back onto the map.
Blastbeard High level tips
- Using Blastbeard’s Charged Anchor (Secondary) to Rocket Jump is a great way to increase your mobility.
- In addition to destroying opponents’ rockets and deployed items, Blastbeard’s Shockwave (Special) can also destroy other Heroes’ thrown objects like Plink’s Skedaddle Ball or Kayi’s Snow Globe shuriken. The Shockwave can even force Amphora out of her Hydro Form!
- Get close to your opponents and unleash all of your abilities on them in rapid succession to quickly deal extremely high damage. You may catch them by surprise and blast them out of the arena if they don't have Dodge ready to break their Hit Stun.
