FLUX JOINS THE TOUR
Flux is a child prodigy who ranks at the top of her class at Propulsion Prep, Crater’s boarding school for geniuses. She is excitable, effusive, and easily distracted by anything that tickles her scientific fancy. Flux sees life as one big experiment, so to her, the Tour is less about competition and more about gathering data.

FREE LEGENDARY SKYLINE TOTEM PATTERNS
As the Rocket Championship Tour moves to each region, you’re able to earn an Epic Skyline Totem Pattern. Epic Skyline Totem Patterns are much larger than standard patterns and represent the distinct features of the regions of Crater, and are awarded for participating in events.
Here’s how to earn each:
- Boom City - Free for all players to celebrate the launch of Season 1 and Jayto’s Tour Victory
- Crystal Reef - Available for free during Crystal Reef Mythic Event in Season 1
- Fort Rocket - Available for free during Fort Rocket Mythic Event in Season 1
BLAST IN PARADISE LIMITED-TIME EVENT STARTING AUGUST 12
It’s summer time in Crater! All the Rocket Championship Competitors have been invited to the ultimate beachside getaway at Crater’s Edge. During the Blast in Paradise event, there will be themed Challenges, Playlists, Cosmetics, and new Modes. In addition, two new Maps will be permanently added to the game. Celebrate in style with new tropical outfits, and try out six new event playlists, including Treasure in Paradise, Beach Ball, and Doubles!
And complete free Challenges during the Blast in Paradise event to earn unique unlocks!
New Map - Lagoon of Doom
Lagoon of Doom, home to bottomless waterfalls, is forever swathed in fog. They say that sea serpents ply its depths, ready to snag anyone foolhardy enough to cross the Lagoon. Surely, it’s nonsense -- but just in case, let’s stick to the beach, and avoid the water!
New Map - Grand Harbor
Grand Harbor is home to several noteworthy sights. Among them is a pair of wrecked pirate ships, settled in the shallow waters, where they held their final naval battle. There could be treasure stored below their decks, but there are definitely piles of unstable rockets down there. So stay clear!
RUNAWAY MEGADON LIMITED-TIME EVENT COMING IN SEPTEMBER
All aboard to the Wilds! The Rocket Rail Line has made the journey from Megadon Junction to Kayo Kanyon! Along the way, its special cargo has gone mysteriously missing. The Heroes of Crater must embark on a hunt to find the Runaway Megadon.
During the Runaway Megadon event there will be themed Challenges, Playlists, Cosmetics, and Modes. And a new map will be permanently added to the game. Journey to six new event playlists, and play new game modes -- Megamuzzle is all about sniping and in Splat Megablast Danger never goes away.
And don’t forget to complete free challenges during the Runaway Megadon event to earn unique unlocks!
New Map - Kayo Kanyon
Kayo Kanyon, named after Boone’s Grandfather, is an abandoned whistle stop in the Wilds. Here, the Rocket Rail Line rumbles along some of the ricketiest tracks in Crater. You’ll find a rocket-shaped water tower, and a tar pit swimming with Megadon Bones and ancient rockets. Fire weapons through the rocket-shaped arches and avoid opponents by ducking into the mining tunnels that were left behind by the defunct GCEG -- the Greater Crater Excavator Company.
Stay tuned for more info on Runaway Megadon as we get closer to the Event!
MYTHIC EVENTS
Season 1 features two Mythic Events. Each Mythic Event introduces a new Mythic Outfit, a skyline totem symbol, and a Mythic Event playlist. During the event, we will also celebrate the region of Crater hosting the event by showcasing more lore about the Heroes and locales.
Check back later in the season for more updates on the Mythic Events!
