Description: The daughter of Elrond and Evenstar of her people, Arwen fiercely defends the West against the coming Shadow. Her light brings hope to those in need.

Abilities:

Basic: Guarded Slash

Ability Description at unlock: Attack the target enemy for 90% damage and 50% chance to grant 1 stack of Defensive to the most wounded squad member.

Ability Description at max upgrade: Attack the target enemy for 180% damage and grant 1 stack(s) of Defensive to the most wounded squad member.

Special 1: Deadly Earnest

Stamina Cost: 3

Ability Description at unlock: Attack the target enemy for 130% damage and dispel 1 Boon.

Ability Description at max upgrade: Attack the target enemy for 270% damage and dispel 2 Boons. Gain 20% Turn Meter and an additional 20% per Boon on self.

Special 2: The Evening Star

Stamina Cost: 5

Ability Description at unlock: Cleanse 1 Bane(s) from the 2 squad members with the most Banes. Grant 1 stack(s) of Regeneration for 1 turn(s) to all squad members.

Ability Description at max upgrade: Cleanse 1 Bane from all squad members. Grant 1 stack of Regeneration for 1 turn to all squad members and 1 additional stack to squad members below 50% Health. Grant Immunity for 1 turn to the most wounded Rivendell squad member.

Passive Ability: Light of Rivendell

Ability Description at unlock: When a squad member drops below 50% Health, 50% chance to grant them 1 stack of Nimble. This can trigger once per squad member.

Ability Description at max upgrade: When a squad member drops below 50% Health, grant them 1 stack(s) of Nimble. If they are a Light character, 50% chance to cleanse 1 Bane(s) from them. This can trigger once per squad member. Gain +10% Damage.

Key Attributes:

Arwen is a strong addition to any squad, but really shines when allied with Rivendell Elves such as her brother Elrohir. She heals allies and provides a variety of powerful defensive boons enabling the most wounded allies to stay in the fight. Add to this her bane cleansing and tactical boon dispelling abilities and she is a must have for any player.

Inspiration:

Arwen is an independent and strong Half-elf that has traveled the world and yet; she is a Lady of pure grace who has spent a good deal of time in both Rivendell and Lothlorien. Arwen is the quintessential Half-elf that yearns to wander the world, she is beyond graceful and elegant, Her clothes, although that of a traveler are exquisite and Elven in nature. Her eyes are said to be piercing, as if looking directly into your soul. She is ageless, as with all elves and possesses a very regal attitude as a noble. Arwen is equally as skilled in combat as her father and brothers, and should not be underestimated.

She is equipped with a beautiful, exceptionally well made sword, created by the finest Craft-Elves of Rivendell. It is as near to perfection, as one could ask. It is a personal defense weapon, ideal for arduous events that can be found on the road. It should be light and perfectly balanced, able to both deliver cuts and thrusts. It is the quintessential elf 1 handed sword.

Arwen possesses a beautiful necklace of a breathtaking gem, hung upon a silver chain. Later on, Arwen gifts the necklace to Frodo, with the words ‘When the memory of the fear and the darkness troubles you, this will bring you aid’.

Strategy Tips:

• Arwen provides a variety of powerful defensive boons enabling the most wounded allies to stay in the fight. Pay attention to who your most wounded member is in the squad to make best use of Arwen’s abilities. 
• When Arwen has 5 Boons or more, Deadly Earnest will grant her enough Turn Meter to take another turn.
• Arwen’s passive allows her to reactively defend a weakened member with Nimble. Use this to your advantage on any squad that needs to keep key squad members alive.
