Description: The ageless lord of Rivendell, Elrond rules over the hidden valley with wisdom and virtue. Bearing the ring Vilya, he is nearly unrivaled in Middle-earth.

Abilities:

Basic: Ageless Wisdom

Ability Description at unlock: Attack the target enemy for 80% damage and 50% chance to grant 1 stack(s) of Regeneration for 1 turn(s) to the most wounded squad member.

Ability Description at max upgrade: Attack the target enemy for 170% damage and grant 1 stack(s) of Regeneration for 2 turn(s) to the most wounded squad member.

Special Ability 1: Vilya’s Light

Stamina Cost: 4

Ability Description at unlock: Heal all squad members for 13% of this character’s Max Health. Revive a random Elf ally with 60% of their Max Health.

Ability Description at max upgrade: Heal all squad members for 15% of this character’s Max Health. Grant Protection for 1 turn(s) and 1 stack(s) of Regeneration for 1 turn(s) to the most wounded squad member. Revive a random Elf ally with 65% of their Max Health. If there are no Elf allies to revive, gain 2 Stamina for this ability.

Special Ability 2: The Wrath of Rivendell

Stamina Cost: 7

Ability Description at unlock: Attack all enemies for 130% damage and inflict Slow for 1 turn.

Ability Description at max upgrade: Attack all enemies for 280% damage and reduce their Turn Meter by 6% per Boon on self, up to a max of 5 Boons for 30% additional Turn Meter. Inflict Slow for 2 turns.

Passive Ability: House Eternal

Ability Description at unlock: The first time this character drops below 40% Health, gain 1 stack of Unbreakable for each Rivendell ally still alive.

Ability Description at max upgrade: On Turn, heal the most wounded squad member for 7% of this character’s Max Health and grant them 1 stack(s) of Counterattack. The first time this character drops below 40% Health, gain 1 stack(s) of Unbreakable for each Rivendell ally still alive.

Leader Ability: Lord of Rivendell

Ability Description at unlock: On Rivendell squad member Turn, if they have no Banes, extend the duration of 1 of their Boons by 1 turn.

Ability Description at max upgrade: On Rivendell squad member Turn, if they have no Banes, gain Fortitude for 1 turn and extend the duration of 2 of their Boons by 1 turn. Elf squad members gain +4% Damage per Boon on them, up to a max of 5 Boons for 20% additional Damage. Light squad members gain +10% Max Health.

Key Attributes:

Lord Elrond, half-elf, is an immortal being that has survived several millennia. His knowledge and wisdom are incredibly deep, whilst also being an incredibly powerful magic user and skilled martial artist. His healing skills are Legendary and unknownst to almost all, he is also a wielder of one of the 3 Elven rings, Vilya, which allows him to command the mighty Bruinen River and making him an even more potent protector. While Elrond is the Lord of Rivendell, he is the father of Elrohir, Elladan and Arwen. 

Inspiration:

Regal and timeless. Lord Elrond stands proud with his staff in hand, and the fabled Elven ring of power, Vilya, upon his finger. While appearing stern and deep in thought, he is a loving father to his children - Elladan, Elrohir and Arwen - and fights fiercely to protect both his family and Rivendell from the Shadow that seeks to approach.

Strategy Tips:

• Lord Elrond’s leader ability can only work if you keep Banes off of your squad members.
• Vilya’s Light can revive Elf allies, but should also be used to heal your allies to keep them alive and avoid such a fate entirely.
• Lord Elrond himself doesn’t have much health. Make sure you bring plenty of Rivendell allies so his passive ability “House Eternal” keeps him alive

Lord Elrond’s Adventure begins shortly, named Change in the Wind.

Celebrian, Elrond’s wife and Elrohir, Elladan, and Arwen’s mother, has just gone to the West. Elrond wants to spend time in further training of the Rivendell Elves. He knows that there has been an increase in Orc activity in the Misty Mountains. There is growing concern about the threats throughout Middle-earth and Elrond wants his people to be strong and prepared for the coming war. He wants his sons to train with their sister as they have been in the wilds with the Dúnedain while she has been in Lórien.

To get you prepared for the Legendary Adventure of Lord Elrond - Change in the Wind - you’ll need five of the six following Elf characters:

• Elrohir
• Lomion
• Leliel
• Naremiri
• Arwen
• Elladan

As a reminder, in order to progress through the tiers you’ll need to have starred your characters appropriately. For example, Tier 1 will require all your characters to be at least 1 star, Tier 2 will need 2 star characters, Tier 3 - 3 stars, and so on.

You’ll need to be level 30 in order to access his Adventure. Players will also need to complete Tier 5 of his Adventure in order to unlock and obtain a 5 star Lord Elrond to add to your squad. You can progress Lord Elrond to 6 and 7 stars by completing Tier 6 and 7 respectively.
