Show your school spirit in the latest update of The Sims FreePlay! Recreate your high school life the way you want - will your Sim be popular, a sports jock or a quiet achiever? You'll love the school themed content available to earn throughout our Live Event, SimChases PLUS introducing a whole new way to play: Influence Island!

Our entire update is filled with more of our most requested events that we know you are going to love. Are you ready for a pop quiz to test your memory?

Jump into the waters of Influence Island!

To kick off the School’s Out update, take part in a new Survivor-styled game show called, Influence Island. Your Sim must attempt to influence 7 celebrity Sims on the island to join your clan using powers of persuasion!

A rival on the island is also trying to influence the other Sims, so we recommend checking back daily to ensure you remain on track by the end of the event. Through multiple rounds of strategic persuasion, each ‘influencing choice’ will randomly generate a number result, that will slide up your progress bar, increasing your influence on the target. By reaching the green zone for a successful outcome, you will earn Network Tokens to redeem for fun prizes along the way.

Target Sims will start at ‘Neutral’ status. Each successfully completed Influence Challenge will progress them from a ‘Friend’, to an ‘Ally’ and then to the final successful influence stage of, ‘Clan Mate’.

The grand prize for completing the first season of Influence Island is a huge range of high school themed cafeteria décor. Create your own School Campus lunchroom space for students to collect their food and drink from a serving area and take it to a table themselves between classes!

SimChase Events

Throughout this update, enjoy two SimChase events filled with exclusive school-themed décor rewards! The never-before seen items include sports equipment to design a functional athletics venue and more! Choose your very own Sims to star in a ‘amazing race-style’ gameshow! During the 7- and 9-day events, each day is made up of smaller tasks that require you to plan your time effectively using multiple Sims, to win against an in-game rival! Don’t let them catch up - be rewarded with exciting milestone prizes as you work towards unlocking epic Grand Prizes.

Season 18 – Sports Day Stoush!

Earn basketball hoops to practice your skills and bleachers to spectate a game and cheer on your team from the back row in the latest season of SimChase Season 18 – Sports Day Stoush!

School’s Out Live Event

Welcome to the new School Campus! Begin a new chapter for your Sim when they enroll in the newest school in SimTown. Hang out with the popular kids in the common room, get help with homework in the library, or practice science experiments in the laboratory! Craft resources in the new ‘School's Out’ Live Event within the time limit, to unlock your very own School Campus House Lot grand prize.

L-Shaped Rooms – Build Mode

We’re excited to deliver one of the most requested build mode features of all time – L Shaped Rooms!

This permanent new feature will allow you to design incredible layouts and refine your favorite houses and Architect Homes. Now you can create the real thing without having to try and achieve fake looking imitations.

 You must be up to Level 7 to unlock this build mode feature. Visit Lee at the Nightclub venue to access the ‘L-Shaped Rooms’ Feature Quest.

Once the quest is completed, when you select ‘Rooms’ in Build Mode and tap the, 'Room Renovator' button, you’ll be able to use the yellow anchor points to drag sides of each wall to create the ‘L’!
