Sul Sul! We hope you’re enjoying balconies but we know you’ve missed Emily and she’s finally here!

Emily has been incredibly busy with our devs to identify and fix the bugs that came along with balconies. There were player-facing issues in addition to the non-player-facing bugs that were fixed in this follow-up update to Merrier Together. For those curious, non-player-facing bugs are issues that don't affect the gameplay directly but can hamper player experience indirectly. An example of this would be backend data corruption. Fixing this before it occurs is something you won’t hear about but it’s being done before an update is released nonetheless.

Below you’ll find a list of the major bug fixes alongside an update on previously known issues and a few words on what’s coming next.

• For those who faced download failure on iOS after launching the game, don't worry! Play to your heart’s content as this has now been fixed.
• Embiggening spell faded. The ‘Stone and Timber Gate’ item that wasn’t allowing fences to be placed due to a large footprint is now fixed.
• It all Ads up! The Watch Ad Appointment at the mailbox in the 74 Summer Lagoon Lot now performs as intended and will count towards the “Daily Bonus Task”.
• Balconies now cost the correct amount after unlocking a new floor.
• Color me surprised! The “Flyaway” Autumn Stack object doesn’t change when different color variants are applied to it.
• Wallpaper Galore! A missing wallpaper from the “Behr Family Den” has been added to the game. You can now find a new “Totally Free Wallpaper” item in the Wallpaper section.
• The “Where is the Network“ issue has been fixed for a majority of players.
• Many more under-the-hood issues have been ironed out and fixed.

• Sim is busy bug.
• Sims from family getting lost.
• Sim contacts and relationships getting lost.

For the above three issues, the team has fixed part of the root cause. It has worked for a majority of players but a few players are still facing this issue. The team is working on it and will require more time to completely resolve it.

• Party Chat not working.

Party Chat was not working as intended for a few players. This has been on our radar and we’re still working on it but due to its complexity, it might take us longer to resolve it.

• Sims eating food in the bathroom and not the table.
• Sims washing dishes in the bathroom.

Because of a glitch in the matrix, some Sims are too stubborn and enjoy doing things their way. Due to the existence of more annoying bugs that hamper the player experience, we’ve put this on the back burner until we’ve dealt with some of those other bugs.

• To help reduce inventory clutter, The “Purchase 3 BB Items from ‘x’ Category” Daily Task will not appear for veteran players.
• Fixing a few more items with the large footprint bug.
• New Barrier styles for your balconies to express your creativity even more.
• An unseen face arrives in town, can you guess who they might be?
• Keep an eye out for a gift to celebrate the 23rd Anniversary of The Sims franchise.
