'Greenest Garden’ Treasure Hunt Event

Channel your inner eco-friendly ‘green thumb’ and design a new vision for your Sim’s outdoor garden space. Help Smallfry search for clues in the 'Greenest Garden’ Treasure Hunt event to unlock stylish upcycled and repurposed outdoor décor and even an outdoor greenhouse! ‘Dessert for Two’ Sweet Treat Showdown Event

Everything feels a little more special and memorable when your Sims can spend some outdoor time together. Originally first run in our ‘Date Night’ update, enjoy the rerun of the 'Dessert for Two’ Sweet Treat Showdown rerun. Plan a romantic evening and transforming a backyard space for a cute picnic. Let the bubbles from the Sweetheart Spa melt your stress away, or host an ambient movie night with an outdoor cinema screen, tree with fairy lights, lanterns and much more!

'Wash ‘n Fold’ Sweet Treat Showdown Event Rerun

Enjoy doing the most relaxing of all chores: laundry! You've been asking for the rerun of the ‘Wash ‘n Fold’ Sweet Treat Showdown since March last year, so we’ve delivered! Earn rewards for the perfect washing space with prizes that include a washing machine and clothesline, sink, comfy ‘laundry day’ outfits – even a dirty clothes pile to fill up that hamper.

Bug Fixes

Thanks to your reports on Answers HQ, our game team have been hard at work squashing bugs! Here is a list of just a few notable mentions that we’ve fixed in this update:

General

• Items purchased in "Early unlock" of level 14 are no longer locked after purchasing the "Early unlock". Also, feature has been removed from surfaces in Build Tab
• Incorrect object names are observed for mural objects in DJ career
• All watches in CAS are now unisex
• "Stone and Timber Lamp" added to outdoors section in Build/Buy
• Wumples rewards from Holiday Celebration Update ‘Snow Day Jacket’ and ‘Boots’ are now unisex for child Sims
• Fixed typo on "Comfort Time Slippers" shoes
• Few decoration objects in few venues has the lifestyle score and other venues objects do not have Lifestyle score. Confirming that is correct, and that decoration objects only give lifestyle score once they are purchased
  

Improved the resolution, texture, and effects quality for a number of devices

• Fixed Edgewater Quay, Downtown and Landgraab lots turning black/not rendering in some devices
  

Live Events

• Bonus point rewards for using cupcakes no longer are shown twice while progressing through career quests (in the bonus and the regular rewards)
  

Fixed colour swatch and clipping issues with a number of Build/Buy objects:

• Incorrect footprints are no longer seen for "Simply Splendid Dresser" object
• “Tasteful Touch Dining Hutch" object footprints are no longer seen outside the wall
• Lavish wall light object reward from Grand Mansion Sweet Treat Showdown is now visible in outdoor category
• Sim no longer clips with pre-placed bookshelf while cleaning up the boxes in tutorial levels
• Sewing SFX are now audible while performing appointments on "Crafty Sewing Table"
• Sims no longer clip with Ice Rink while performing appointment on "All Year Round Skating Rink"
• Items from the Internet Icon pack objects break upon performing multiple appointments.
• "Winterwood Full Window" variant 8 now matches with standard black colour
• Various outdoor objects can now be placed on paved ground/rugs
• “Glorious Hardwood” flooring no longer changes colour when you close and reopen your game
• “New Beginning Fireworks” can now be placed on paved ground
• New base game walls and floors surfaces can be applied for free
• Karaoke Jamboree machine can now be placed outside the home lot
• “Wooden Standing Lamp” can now be placed on rugs
• “Plate of drinks” cups are no longer clipping and being lost at different angles
  

Fixed clipping and texture issues with a number of clothing items:

• Sims no longer appear beardless when changing their outfit during CAS after applying few hat items
• "Cordial Corduroy Skirt" no longer clips with various tops
• "Layer me Down Shorts Combo" no longer clips with various tops
• Male pants and shorts no longer clip when wearing a belt while sitting
• Headscarf items now shows correct hair colour underneath
• Imperfection no longer visible on “Midnight Panelled Skirt” when combined with “90s Retro Layered Top”
• “Springtime Capris” and “Croissants Please Capris” no longer look the same
• Necklaces no longer clip with “Crazy About Peplum” top
