Battlefield Mobile: Closed Alpha Test FAQ

If you have an Android device and are located in one of the following countries, you can pre-register for the game on Google Play for an opportunity to play Battlefield Mobile in our latest test.
- Mexico
- Colombia
- Egypt
- Iraq
Slots are limited and on a first-come-first-serve basis, so pre-registering doesn’t guarantee access to this Closed Alpha Test, but it does mean you’ll be notified of future releases.
This test showcases several new additions and upgrades for Battlefield Mobile, including:
- Two maps brand-new to Battlefield
- New Game Mode: Rush
- Daily Assignments and in-game currency to buy items
- New Weapons
During this Closed Alpha Test phase, Battlefield Mobile is only available in English. We’ll support more languages and regions in the future, and we’ll update this page with the latest information.

FAQ
Why is the game not available in my country?
We’re launching a small Closed Alpha Test for Battlefield Mobile in select regions before launch. These tests help us hear your feedback and focus on making the release version of the game the best possible experience for you.
When Will Battlefield Mobile Be Available on iOS?
The game will be available on iOS sometime in the future. We will update you when we have more information about this.
How is Battlefield Mobile different from Battlefield on other platforms?
Developed by Industrial Toys, Battlefield Mobile is a standalone title built from the ground up to deliver FPS thrills on mobile devices.
Will Battlefield Mobile feature cross-play with other platforms?
Battlefield Mobile is made for mobile. There are no plans for cross-play with PC or console at this time.
When will Battlefield Mobile become available in my region?
We’re rolling out Battlefield Mobile around the world in a series of tests.
When we’re ready to go broader, we’ll launch a page that lets you pre-register for the game and sign up for news about it.

How do I save my game progress?
If you played during an earlier play test, your progress won’t carry over.
Make sure to link your game to Facebook or Google Play. Once you’ve done that, the game saves automatically.
Here’s how to do it:
- Tap the Settings cogwheel on the top-right corner of the main menu screen.
- Tap Link next to Link Accounts.
- Choose the account you want to link to, and tap Link next to it.
Please keep in mind that all account progress will be wiped at the end of this testing period.
What if I can’t download the game?
To download Battlefield Mobile, you need to:
- pre-register for the game on Google Play.
- be located in one of the countries involved in the test
- have an Android device that meets the minimum specs
Due to the limitations of the test, not everyone who pre-registered may be able to play.
If you’re not able to play, please stay tuned for updates here and on ea.com. We look forward to including more players as we get closer to launch.
If you’re excited to play, make sure your device meets our minimum requirements:
- Android 7.0 or higher
- At least 3GB RAM
- At least Exynos 8 Octa (8890) / Snapdragon 660 chipset
- Support for OpenGL ES 3.1 or higher
If it does and you still can’t download the game, try our troubleshooting steps for Android devices.
Can press get into the Alpha to test the game?
We are not providing early access to press at this time but we’ll let you know about the earliest opportunity to get hands-on with the game.
FIND A BUG OR HAVE FEEDBACK?
We’re looking to gather as much feedback about the Alpha as possible, so let us know what you think in the Battlefield Mobile Closed Alpha forums on Answers HQ.
If you find a bug, let us know about it on the forums. Since this is an Alpha test, our advisors won’t be able to help troubleshoot anything that might happen while you’re playing, so tell us everything you come across that might be a bug or any problems you have.

The best way to contact us is by creating an in-game ticket. This sends us through details about your account and means we can help you faster. Keep in mind that our advisors are only able to collect feedback during the Closed Alpha Test phase.
- On the home screen, tap the Settings cogwheel in the top right corner.
- Find Customer Service on the list, and tap Visit.
- Follow the instructions on-screen to contact us.
If you can’t log into the game, we’ll ask for your Player ID when you contact us. You can find your Player ID in Settings.
