Cats & Dogs is Now on Console

Make some furry new friends now!

Well, it’s about fur-ing time, console-loving Simmers. The Sims™ 4 Cats & Dogs Expansion Pack* is available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4! Making fuzzy friends a part of your Sims’ lives is a reality, and we couldn’t be prouder to share this with you. And, since your newfound buddies will have the inevitable ailment, let's catch up on the newest, most awesome-est career: veterinarian!

Diagnosis: Adorable
In this expansion, your Sims can open a Vet clinic and begin curing diseases like Fleas, Gilded Guts Disorder, and Advanced Swamp Mouth (ew). You can design the clinic to match your Sim's personal style, and even hire a staff to keep up with all your pet patients.

Sims can keep improving their Vet Skills, making them the top animal doc in town. The first stop is the exam table. Here, your Sim will need to carefully balance the patient’s stress levels while performing tests to diagnose the issue. Once you isolate the cause, you can perform the treatment and collect payment.

On the other hand, you can take a shot in the dark and see where that leads you. But, beware! Using the wrong treatment will cost your Sims valuable time, Simoleons, and totally stress out your patient. Anyone with a cat IRL knows that can happen all too often. Poor little furball.

I Need 100 CCs — of Fun!
Some treatments need more than the exam table and require surgery. No worries there! Your clinic can have a robust surgery station to perform complicated treatments. Your Sim can also spay, un-spay, neuter, and un-neuter pets as well. The un-neutering option will come in handy if you decide to breed and make more puppies or kitties. GAHHH, ALL THE PUPPIES AND KITTIES! Sadly, pets emerge wearing the cone of shame, but don’t worry, it only lasts for a short time.

When not serving patients in need, your Sims can craft unique Medicines — or delegate employees to do it — to sell in the vending machine, use on their own pets, or administer at the exam table to de-stress furry friends. There’s always something to do to help your patients! You’ll discover so much at the vet clinic, and so many ways to customize the experience to enjoy it on your terms.

The Sims 4 Cats and Dogs has so many new things to do, and players who love earning Simoleons and telling stories have a great way to do that as a veterinarian.
