Origin will be starting a closed beta to test and build a faster, smarter, more connected desktop app
Origin Players,
You’ve spent countless hours playing inside of Origin over the years; thank you. You’ve also given us a ton of feedback on what players like you want - a fast, reliable platform that enables you to jump into the games you love easily, connect with friends and find games and content that suit your playstyle.
This feedback has inspired us to enhance the Origin experience to power a faster, smarter, more connected desktop app.
We'll be inviting some of you to join the Origin Closed Beta where we’ll be rolling out improvements. If you receive an invite, we hope you’ll download and check it out.
Of course, as with any beta, it’s a work-in-progress and your feedback is really important. We hope you’ll share what you like, what you don’t, and everything in between so we can build a PC gaming platform that you’ll love.
Origin will also remain live, so you’ll be free to toggle back and forth between the apps to continue playing the games you love in either experience.
