The England defender scored a fine late goal as Liverpool won 2-1 at Stamford Bridge. Rated 8.5 goal.com ("top of the match").
RB: Iraloa, Spain, Athletic Club de Bilbao – 79>83
Key player in Athletic's away win at Sevilla: strong at the back, scored the opener and made it into Marca and goal.com TOTW.
CB: Ron Vlaar, Holland, Feyenoord – 74>74
Vlaar was the dominant force again, and kept a clean sheet against the most physical striker there is in the Eredivisie.
CM: Marco Parolo, Italy, Cesena – 75>79
Gazzetta's "Il migliore" (rated 7.5) secured the first win thanks to his wonder goal at Bologna, TOTW goal.com.
CM: Borja Valero, Spain, Villarreal CF – 81>84
One of the best in Spain this week, Borja Valero scored the only goal against Betis, Marca and goal.com TOTW.
CDM: Hasan Salihamidžić, Germany, VfL Wolfsburg – 79>83
The veteran played well in his new role as holding midfielder, and even found the time to net a brace. Kicker and goal.com TOTW.
CF: Marco Reus, Germany, Borussia M'gladbach – 79>83
Scored a hattrick when M'gladbach destroyed Werder (5-0) - kicker's POTW, also featured in goal.com TOTW.
CM: Charlie Adam, England, Liverpool – 80>82
Great activity and assist on the winning goal.
ST: Luìs Fabiano, Brazil, São Paulo – 83>84
Rated 8.5 on Globo, Luìs Fabiano scored a brace and thanks to him, his club still have a hope to qualify for Copa Libertadores.
ST: Fred, Brazil, Fluminense – 80>84
Scored a hattrick when Fluminense crashed the title hopes of Figueirense (0-4), rated 9.5 by Globo…

Beating Porto 3-0 doesn't happen that often, Adrien Silva scored and contained Porto's midfielder - key player for Academica.
RM: Mark Wright, England, Shrewsbury Town – 62>64
Winger Wright scored a first-half brace as his team cruised to an astonishing 7-2 victory at manager-less Northampton.
ST: Heidar Helguson, England, Queens Park Rangers – 68>73
The in-form QPR striker scored another brace to earn his team an impressive 2-3 win at Stoke.
ST: Rickie Lambert, England, Southampton – 70>74
The Southampton captain scored his second hattrick of the season as the Championship leaders beat ten-man Brighton 3-0.
ST: Carlos Bueno, Mexico, Querétaro – 72>74
The undisputed leader of his team scored two goals in the first-ever playoff appearance of the Gallos.
