Celebrating the future of EA: Interns!
EA's first in-person event brought all interns together to hype them up for their incredible journey ahead.
July 27, 2023
It’s National Intern Day! So, shoutout to all our interns past and present.
In May and June, we invited our interns to attend our first-ever Intern Early Access events hosted in Vancouver and Redwood City. Since the beginning of the pandemic, our intern programs have been hosted completely virtually, so you can imagine how excited we were to bring everyone together again in person! The three-day events were focused on setting our interns up for success during their time at EA. The agendas were jam-packed with talks, panels, workshops, conversations with company leaders, and of course, tons of fun. But don’t just take our word for it…
"Wow wow wow!! What an exciting way to start my internship with Maxis Studios - EA! Every summer I have experienced something new, but this time around might be the best one yet! I’m so thankful to the Next-Gen Talent team….they’re always taking care of us interns and are a big reason why I get excited to come back every summer." Jess Flores
"The EA Intern Early Access event in Vancouver was a complete blast! It was an incredible opportunity to meet and network with so many talented fellow interns who are equally passionate about the gaming industry. It was exciting to see the EAV studio, its facilities, and some of the cool things that they were doing. Over the three days, the workshops and track talk panels provided insightful knowledge on various topics and I had the chance to meet some truly amazing people at EA who are laying a strong foundation for the company.” Jyothir Krishnan
“Thank you to everyone who took the time to offer guidance and insights along the way—I wouldn't be here without you all. My eyes are wide open, EA, let's play!" Cynthia Zhang
Events like this along with our EA Madden Scholarship, Workshop with Girls Make Games, and our Next Gen scholarship with Berklee College aim to inspire and empower attendees, providing them with a world-class experience as they make important moves toward a career they love.
REAL EXPERIENCES
Spoiler! We don’t have “intern projects.” We have meaningful work that needs to be done by our interns employees. Because…yes, they are part of the team!
REAL POTENTIAL
We’re in it for the long haul and we hope our interns are too. Our hope is that our interns will continue with us into full-time employment.
REAL CONNECTIONS
As well as working on meaningful projects that are part of the business roadmap, they are exposed to multiple teams and are a major part of our community. We ensure all interns have access to leadership and professional growth workshops.
Want to help inspire the world to play? Keep your eyes peeled for our upcoming internships which will be posted here at the beginning of September.
