Dual Entitlement

Let’s kick things off with a Dual Entitlement refresher. Dual Entitlement enables you to upgrade your copy of Madden NFL 22 from PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5, or from Xbox One to Xbox Series X|S at no additional cost.*

Dual Entitlement is available in the Madden NFL 22 MVP Edition and the Madden NFL 22 Dynasty Edition via pre-order: 

• If you pre-order the digital PlayStation 4 or Xbox One version of the Madden NFL 22 MVP Edition, or purchase the Madden NFL 22 Dynasty Edition (available only via pre-order), you will receive a digital copy of the full game on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S.
• If you pre-order the physical PlayStation 4 or Xbox One version of the Madden NFL 22 MVP Edition, or purchase the Madden NFL 22 Dynasty Edition (available only via pre-order), you will get a single-use code in box, for one digital copy of the full game on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S.

Madden NFL 22 On Each Console

Here, you’ll find a breakdown of what is available in Madden NFL 22 across each console:

Your Madden Rank, Wallet, Vanity purchases, Avatar look/loadout, and player class progression will transfer over if you upgrade to a next generation console two months after your original purchase. 

Here’s a detailed breakdown of what transfers over, by mode: 

• Franchise: Franchise specifics do not carry over, so you’ll get the chance to rebuild and recreate your team with incredible updates on the newest consoles
• Madden Ultimate Team: Everything in Madden Ultimate Team carries over EXCEPT progress in competitive modes, like Weekend League 
• The Yard: All progression in The Yard carries over
• Face of the Franchise: All progression in Face of the Franchise carries over
