Madden NFL 25 Roster Update: Week 15

With just three weeks left in the NFL regular season, the playoff picture is starting to clear up. Carolina, San Francisco, Kansas City and Baltimore all look like solid bets to qualify as the four wild card teams. However, several division races are tight. The Lions and Bears are tied atop the NFC North, but the Packers sit just half a game back and could welcome Aaron Rodgers back into the mix this week.

Here are three of the biggest changes from the Madden NFL 25 Week 15 roster update.

MATT PRATER, DENVER BRONCOS K
When you set an NFL record, your rating goes up. That was the case in Denver, as Matt Prater set an NFL record by booting a 64-yard field goal at the end of the first half in last week’s win over the Titans. Prater’s OVR moves up three-points to 93, and his KPW was increased a point to a well-deserved 99.

CORDARRELLE PATTERSON, MINNESOTA VIKINGS WR
Patterson won’t catch fellow rookies Keenan Allen and Giovani Bernard in the race for Offensive Rookie of the Year, but the speedster did break out in the Vikings’ narrow loss to the Ravens. Patterson caught five passes for 141 yards, including a go-ahead 79-yard score with less than a minute remaining in the game. Patterson’s OVR increases two points to 77, and he also received a five-point boost in RTE.

JOSH MCCOWN, CHICAGO BEARS QB
The Bears squashed any rumblings of a quarterback controversy by naming incumbent Jay Cutler as the Week 15 starter. But that doesn’t diminish McCown’s Monday Night performance, as he threw for 348 yards and four touchdowns, adding one on the ground. McCown’s OVR is up three points to 81, thanks to one-point increases in THP and THA.
