Madden NFL 24 Mobile - Collections & Albums

Hello, Madden NFL Mobile Fans!

First and foremost, thank you all for playing Madden NFL 23 Mobile! We feel the excitement from you each year, and we know how passionate you are about the game.

In this edition of Gridiron Notes, we will discuss the Collections & Albums in Madden NFL 24 Mobile. Albums were introduced late in the Madden NFL 23 Mobile season and really only served as a way to track your collection progress in promos with minor rewards. Albums & Collections are being improved in functionality to help users accomplish goals and earn rewards throughout the year.

Albums

Albums have also undergone a number of visual improvements to help users understand their new functionality.

• When completing a goal within an album category, a popup will display completion.

• Albums will now display a green ribbon at the top of the album sections indicating that more cards can be added to that Album. 
  • Inactive Albums will similarly display a red ribbon, meaning no more cards can be added to the Album.
• Each Program/Event will have its own album section. This is where a progress tracker for the collection will be displayed.
  • You will be able to see a signal for newly obtained cards on each of these sections when you acquire said new players/items.

• These Album sections can be collapsed and expanded for easier browsing.
• Albums will have filter options that will apply on a section-by-section basis. (i.e. if a user filters all Tom Brady cards; the filter will show each Tom Brady card within their respective groups and hide all other cards from view.) 
  • Album sections that do not contain Tom Brady cards will not be visible. Unobtained cards will be dimmed. Obtained cards will show up regularly.
  • Post-launch, Users may be able to filter Albums based on whether or not they have rewards associated with the collection.  
• In Madden NFL 23 Mobile, the difference between the collected and non-collected Epic cards in albums was relatively slight and could have been hard to discern. In Madden NFL 24 Mobile, we have adjusted the visuals to maintain enough color to see the difference between rarities (Iconic vs Epic, etc), but clearly differentiate between collected and non.

Player Items

All player items in Albums, whether obtained or not obtained, will display their information panel when tapped on. These items will appear traditionally as flippable items with a stat preview and the optional “Final Form” toggle. Users can then navigate from one player to the next using the on-screen left/right navigation arrows. The information screen will also feature a “Find” button so that the user can track down any missing cards from their collection.

Completion & Rewards

In Madden NFL 24 Mobile, completing various album/collection goals will lead to rewards. As the user progresses through collections, there can be potential rewards for reaching certain collection milestones. If they are available, rewards will be displayed on the right-hand side of the album screen. If there are multiple rewards, users can toggle through the rewards and see each and their specific requirements. Due to how escalations occur in programs/events, achievements can be added once all items for a given album category have become available.
