New Battlefield 3 Trailer Features 12 Minutes of Gameplay

The new Battlefield 3 trailer is now available for viewing. Check out 12 heart-pounding minutes of gameplay, including never before shown footage! The trailer follows Staff Sgt. Black and his team of U.S. Marines as they set out on a rescue mission near the Iran-Iraq border and come under sniper fire. After a fierce skirmish they must make their way to the rooftops to take out the sniper in an abandoned hotel.
In the second part of the video, Sgt. Black must disarm an IED and then back to the streets for a full-on firefight. All of the action in the video is actual in-game footage from the game’s Fault Line segment. The vivid detail and realism are the product of the groundbreaking Frostbite 2 game engine and ANT animation technology, which together bring the individual soldiers and the entire environment to life.
