NHL 14 Ultimate Team - Earning Pucks

The economy in Hockey Ultimate Team is based on EA Pucks. These are used to purchase HUT Packs in the Store or to bid on items in the Auction House.

After finishing a game in Hockey Ultimate Team, players will receive a Puck bonus. These bonuses vary depending on how your team performed in that particular game. The better the performance, the more Pucks you will receive.  

New this year is the ability to earn pucks in every game mode. Whether playing a game in ‘Play Now’ or ‘NHL Moments Live’ – every completed game results in a Puck bonus that can be used in Hockey Ultimate Team. This bonus is limited to 2500 Pucks at any one time.

Keep an eye out for Hockey Ultimate Team Happy Hour Promotions. During these special events, Puck bonuses will increase and additional Pucks will be rewarded for every game finished in Hockey Ultimate Team. Also, returning to HUT on a daily basis triggers even more Daily Puck Bonuses – the more you play, the more Pucks you earn!
