NHL Players Make the Move to Europe in EA SPORTS NHL 13

Hi there hockey fans! Today you may have heard that an online roster update for NHL 13 was released that adds a duplicate version of NHL® players who are playing in the following European leagues to their current team: Czech Extraliga (ELH), SM-Liiga, Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL), Elitserien (SEL), and National League A (NLA). This means that a player like Giroux will remain on the Flyers, but will also be available on the Eisbaren Berlin (DEL) roster.
Hockey is a global game and within NHL 13 there are five European leagues, 66 European teams and over 2100 players representing 26 countries across Europe. By adding NHL players who have joined those leagues to their respective team rosters, we are able to create an authentic experience for fans of those leagues and the NHL, worldwide. For fans of a specific NHL team, those players will still be available on their NHL rosters, which could make for some interesting matchups online.

How to manually move NHL players to their Current European Teams (Offline only)
For players who aren’t connected online, this guide will show you how to manually update your rosters:
From the Main Menu, select ‘My NHL®13’. Next click ‘Roster Management’.
Select ‘Player Movement’.
On the left side of the ‘Player Movement’ menu, cycle to the team that has the player you want to move and then add him to the ‘Moving Block’ by pressing either (A - Xbox) or (X - PS3). Toggle over to the right side of the menu and cycle to the team that you want to move that player to. Hit (X - Xbox) or (Square - PS3) to ‘Execute Move’.
Note: You can add multiple players on the same team to the ‘Moving Block’ to speed up the process.
In this image, you can see that you’ve successfully moved Claude Giroux from the Philadelphia Flyers to Eisbaren Berlin.
If you’d like to reset your rosters to default, head back to the ‘Roster Management’ section of ‘My NHL®13’ and then select ‘Set Default Rosters’.
Challenge the Hockey Ultimate Team: Team of the Week
Beginning Tuesday, hockey fans can take on a NHL 13 Hockey Ultimate Team (HUT) – Team of the Week that features NHL players who have made the move to Europe. Challenge a team that includes players such as Claude Giroux, Erik Karlsson, and Daniel Briere. Fans that purchase any HUT pack get a chance at a special edition Team of the Week item. Each special edition item features players with boosted ratings that can help you build the ultimate fantasy team in Hockey Ultimate Team mode.
