Here at EA we encourage our employees to get out in the community, but sometimes we let the opportunities come to them. That was the case with our sixth-annual Nonprofit Showcase. Great organizations from around the Bay Area visited our Redwood Shores headquarters to highlight their programs to employees and get the word out about how we can be involved.

We had a number of great organizations join us at this year's event, and you can learn more about two organizations in the video below. The first, LEMO Foundation, is a fully-integrated athletic, academic and life skills mentoring program located right near our own campus. The organization came to our attention through a long-time friendship between an EA employee and the organization’s founder and has opened the doors to have other EA employees get involved with local students.

The MOUSE Squad of California Student Tech Leadership Program is another organization highlighted here that we have been working with for a number of years. In addition to financial support, our employees get involved by sharing their professional experience with students, teach them about technology and important skills they’ll need for their future. It's a great way for students to see how what they learn in the classroom can be applied to a job in the videogame industry.

If you are interested in any of the organizations highlighted, please leave us a note in the comments!
