Introducing Portimao in F1® Mobile Racing

Available for the first time in F1® Mobile Racing, the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve, otherwise known as Portimão, opens its gates to all players with the release of Update 22. Presenting many new challenges and a new venue to race in, with all its 15 corners and rollercoaster-like elevation changes.

Located in the south of Portugal, just a few miles from its namesake city, this racing circuit is no stranger to Formula 1 cars. In 2008 and 2009, the circuit was the preferred location for winter testing. But it wasn't until the infamous 2020 season that this circuit had an opportunity to shine as part of the Formula 1® World Championship calendar.

Loved by motorsport fans and drivers worldwide, this circuit has quickly become a favourite by those who know it. The first turn of this circuit sets up the tone for the rest of the lap, as it begins with a quick drop downhill and a quick right-hander, upsetting the car's balance and grip levels. Drivers will experience this type of dramatic elevation changes another 9 times throughout the lap.

Portimão is fast. Flows nicely. And provides drivers with a rollercoaster-like experience that gives other circuits in the calendar a run for their money. With all this, it's easy to understand why it's loved by so many.
