What do a World Series champion, an iconic artist and cartoonist, a 23-time New York Times best-selling author, and a celebrated game designer all have in common? They’re all part of the visionary team behind Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. Curt Schilling, Todd McFarlane, R.A. Salvatore, and Ken Rolston spent last night at The New Museum for the “Inside the Game Studio: Exploring the Power of Play” event, hosted by the critically-acclaimed author of Everything Bad is Good for You, Steven Johnson.
The Reckoning team spent the evening showing media moments in their life that influenced them the most, with individual showcases built from artifacts of their past and present. Led by Steven Johnson, the panel session honed in on their pasts and how their crafts, unique dynamics with one another, and the evolution of their mediums have helped to create Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning.
