Introducing the Madden Ultimate Team Invitational
Hey Madden Ultimate Team (MUT) fans! Today we’re proud to announce the first ever Madden Ultimate Team Invitational. This event will pit some of the best MUT players in the world against one another head-to-head for ultimate bragging rights and some great prizes.
We’ll be selecting 32 individuals spread across four consoles (Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4) for the chance to compete in a bracket-style tournament, with the finalists earning a trip to the EA SPORTS Tiburon studio in Orlando, Florida to compete for the ultimate prize. One winner on each platform will receive one million Ultimate Team coins as well as a legendary pack bundle. Competitors will be selected from the Madden Ultimate Team leaderboards, so start playing now to increase your rank and improve your chances to be selected.

We also wanted to thank you for your ongoing support of MUT and give you a little taste of what’s to come. There were more MUT players the week after the Super Bowl than during launch week. When we see how much you’re enjoying the mode, it inspires our team to deliver even greater things moving forward. MUT is the fastest-growing mode in Madden NFL, and we’ve got you all to thank for that.
This year has marked a number of new features in MUT, including the new Seasons mode. We’ll continue to use Seasons as our primary competitive mode within MUT going forward, and are already thinking about ways to make it better. This year, we also included programs like Road to the Playoffs, Football Outsiders and Ultimate Feast, adding a fun twist to traditional pack openings and collections. All in all, the team has offered more than 3,700 Players, 1,000 Solo Challenges, 750 Collections, 36 Stadiums and 250 Uniforms, a record amount, and we’re still going strong.
You may have also noticed (or even participated in) the MUT Draft we recently conducted. We loved the passion that the community exhibited for the event, with fans suggesting picks and commenting on selections, all while exhibiting some incredible football savvy. We’re glad you enjoyed the Draft and its success has got us thinking about other cool events we can do going forward.
Speaking of the future, we want to know what you think about the future of MUT and what we can do to make it even better. Get in touch with us on Twitter or Facebook and let us know what you like, what you don’t and how we can improve your MUT experience. Thank you again for your continued support, we’re looking forward to hearing from you and hope to see some of you at the first-ever MUT Invitational!
