Watch The Game Changers Live Stream

Hey EA fans! What does it mean to have the power to change the world? Would you change the world to make it better for you, or better for everyone else? On March 6, 2012, we’re hosting a free live stream event featuring three guest speakers who will be asking you to think about these questions and more. And while it was previously top secret, you can now find the identities of our first two presenters below.

How do these speakers fit in with our upcoming announcement? Who is our third speaker? The only way to find out is to tune in to our event this Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. PST. For now, all we can reveal are two of our three confirmed guests:

Davis Guggenheim is a critically acclaimed, Academy Award-winning director and producer whose early work includes television dramas such as Deadwood, NYPD Blue, and 24. He transitioned into directing non-fiction films with The First Year, which aired on PBS in 2001 and won a Peabody Award. An Inconvenient Truth, featuring former Vice President Al Gore, was theatrically distributed by Paramount in 2006 and won an Academy Award for Best Documentary. It Might Get Loud, featuring Jimmy Page, The Edge, and Jack White, was theatrically distributed by Sony Pictures Classics in 2009. Guggenheim also directed Barack Obama's biographical film for the 2008 Democratic National Convention, as well as Obama's 30-minute primetime infomercial. Guggenheim's latest film, Waiting for Superman, premiered at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival and took home the Best US Documentary Audience Award. It was released in September 2010 by Paramount and has since won the Gotham Festival Genius Award, as well as the PGA Award, the Critics' Choice Award, and the National Board of Review Award. He recently completed From the Sky Down, a documentary about the band U2.

Scott Harrison spent ten years as an event promoter in New York City before leaving to volunteer on a hospital ship off the coast of Liberia, Africa as a photojournalist. Returning home to New York City two years later, he founded the non-profit organization charity: water in 2006. Turning his full attention to the global water crisis and the one billion people without clean water to drink, he created public installations and innovative online fundraising platforms to spread international awareness of the issue. In five years, with the help of more than 250,000 donors worldwide, charity: water raised over $60 million and funded 6,185 water projects in 19 developing nations. Those projects will provide over 2.5 million people with clean, safe drinking water. Scott was recently recognized in Fortune Magazine’s “40 Under 40” list and Forbes’ “Impact 30” list. His personal story has been featured in more than 400 media outlets, including ABC’s 20/20 and Nicholas Kristof’s column in the New York Times.
