After many long months away from the glory of professional football, we’re all aching for some fast-paced action. That’s why EA SPORTS, in conjunction with the National Football League and NBC Sports , is staging the third annual EA SPORTS Pigskin Pro-Am from New York City on July 26th and 27th - and we want you to be a part of it. NFL legends and celebrities will hit Bryant Park in a truly competitive game of flag football in a celebration of the return of Madden NFL to fans everywhere.
Last year’s game in California featured controversial calls, game-changing injuries and a thrilling finish. With the change in venue and even more Hall of Fame players involved, this year’s Pigskin Pro-Am will be bigger than ever and we’re going to give you two days of Madden NFL 12 and football legends.
Head to Ustream on July 26 at 7pm EDT/4pm PDT for the Pro-Am Eve Ustream show live from Bryant Park. We’ll have the highest concentration of Madden NFL creative talent ever assembled and they’ll be taking your questions and offering a detailed look at Online Communities, Online Team Play and plenty of other features in Madden NFL 12. We’ll also be unveiling details on the Madden NFL 12 demo including teams, venues and the demo release date. With this faucet of information on full blast, don’t be surprised if some player ratings and a few prizes slip out as well.
Then come back to Ustream on July 27 at 230pm EDT/1130am PDT for the Pigskin Pro-Am Kickoff. The flag football game won’t hit NBC until next month, but everything up to that first whistle is ours to cover. For this show, special guests will drop by and Hall of Famers will tell riveting stories.

The EA SPORTS Madden NFL 12 Pigskin Pro-Am will air on NBC on Sunday, August 28 at 7:00 pm EST preceding the Oakland Raiders hosting the New Orleans Saints (NBC, 8:00 pm EST) preseason matchup on Sunday Night Football.
