Due to her initials growing up everyone called Darla, DJ. She didn't mind since it was lots easier to say. Of course, the name stuck. While in college to earn a few bucks, DJ tried her hand at mixin' some fresh beats on the streets. The portable DJ booth that started her exciting music career is still part of her revered music gear. When anyone says "Hey DJ" she can't stop the grin remembering.
