EMBRACE THE WINTER BREAK IN F1® 24’S SEASON 5

As the winter break descends following a thrilling 2024 season and before a hotly anticipated milestone year for Formula 1®, F1® 24’s Season 5 invites you to reignite your competitive spirit with some exciting events and rewards.

Shifting Gears for Season 5

Running from January 8 to March 5, get your hands on a new Challenge Career and a Pro Challenge from one of the latest to advance to Formula 1®. Alongside the return of Elimination Mode in F1®, there are plenty of items to reward your performances.

Here’s what’s coming up over the next few weeks:

Retro-Inspired Liveries (Jan 8 - Mar 5)

With a huge milestone in the sport just around the corner, what better a time to celebrate than by checking out a pair of retro-inspired liveries, available as soon as Season 5 gets underway.

The Grove Classic livery is available as the first reward in the VIP tier of Podium Pass. Whereas Hethel Classic is available to purchase with PitCoin** from the in-game Store. 

Both of these liveries are fully customisable, so you can swap the colourways, paint finishes, and sponsors, as you see fit. Maybe you’ll make something reminiscent of the 80’s or 90’s.

Both the Podium Pass and Store can be found in the Player Hub from the main menu, or from other screens by pressing the corresponding button shown in the top right hand corner of the screen.

Singapore Pro Challenge: Liam Lawson (Jan 8 - Mar 5)

Waiting in the wings and coming into the fold mid-season, Liam Lawson was a firecracker in the handful of races he took part in to close out the 2024 season. We caught up with him earlier in the year where he set a lap time of 1:30:495 around the streets of Singapore; the track where he scored his first Formula 1® points in 2023.

If you manage to beat his time, your reward comes in the shape of the stunning VISA CashApp RB special livery from the Miami Grand Prix.

To take on Liam’s time, head to F1 World > Play > Solo & Multiplayer Events and look out for Pro Challenge.

Challenge Career: Daniel Ricciardo (Jan 8 - Feb 3)

Whilst we may have witnessed the last time Daniel Ricciardo lined up on the Formula 1® grid, the energy and personality he leaves behind will be a struggle to fill. In his time with six separate teams, he’s seen his fair share of successes, and Season 5’s Challenge Career celebrates that. 

Take on a series of races at the tracks where his infectious smile graced the top step of the podium, and a throwback to one race at his home circuit of Albert Park. Here’s what and when you can get involved:

• Episode #1 (Jan 8-15) - Australia, China
  • Reward: “Nitro Buzz” Helmet
• Episode #2 (Jan 15-22) - Monaco, Canada
  • Reward: “Nitro Buzz” Race Suit
• Episode #3 (Jan 22-29) - Hungary, Belgium
  • Reward: “Nitro Buzz” Gloves
• Episode #4 (Jan 29-Feb 3) - Monza, Azerbaijan

Elimination Mode in F1 (Jan 8 - Mar 5)

Making a return following its F2™ variant earlier in the year, Elimination Mode is back, this time for Formula 1®. In case you missed out before, here’s how it works: every 30 seconds the driver in last place is knocked out until only one remains. 

This time around, the ‘Tidal’ set is what you’ll be awarded for finishing 7th or higher in Elimination Mode events each week. Here’s what and when you can unlock:

• Week 1 (Jan 8-15)
  • Reward: “Tidal” Race Suit
• Week 2 (Jan 15-22)
  • Reward: “Tidal” Gloves
• Week 1 (Jan 22-29)
  • Reward: “Tidal” Livery
• Week 4 (Jan 22-Feb 5)

Reward: “Tidal” Helmet

Plus, from week five onwards, you can add some other items to your collection:

• Week 5 (Feb 5-Feb 12)
  • Reward: Profile Badge

Bug Fixes & Game Improvements

F1® 24 - Available Now

F1® 24 is out now on Xbox, PlayStation®, and PC and you can pick up your copy right now. If you purchase the Champions Edition you’ll get two new Icons (James Hunt and Juan Pablo Montoya), 18,000 PitCoin**, and an F1® World Bumper Pack.
