Our second batch of Takeover community spotlights focuses on unique spaces and initiatives. Each one of these shines a light on a wide array of Apex Legends subcommunities from artists to competitive to those looking to squad up for the grind.
APEX LEGENDS Creative Projects
Zine Directory | Bluesky | X/Twitter
No community is complete without its creative members, and this next spotlight is a great archive of our talented community. Coordinated by Nighte, these Apex Legends Zines feature a plethora of human created content that ranges from digital art to written works and everything in between. Each cover is also created by community artists: “Tales from The Outlands: Legendary Love Celebrations” features work from Righty-O and Ethereal Ronin while “The Adventures of Nessie & Friends” cover was created by Nighte. Stay tuned to their socials for the latest zine and upcoming chances to participate.
Favorite Piece: “The first zine was my favorite one (The adventures of Nessie and friends.) I was overwhelmed by the positive experience, and how much of the community participated. It was a joyful experience.”
Fun Fact: “We've had one of the previous Apex Writers participate in the first zine that I hosted! We have also had moderators and participants that have created community content myself included!”
KOBESPORTS
A fantastic Japanese community space for Apex Legends, KOBESPORTS has been delivering updates on the competitive scene with a goal to spread awareness and enthusiasm. Their love and excitement for the game and esport has only grown, with a presence on social media and coverage on all things competitive from ALGS to Creator tournaments and more.
Favorite Piece: “This page summarizes the X-accounts, distribution locations, and past ALGS results for all players competing in the APAC North Pro League. I created this page so that as many people as possible can follow the players they are interested in, in the hope that more focus will be placed on the players who are competing.”
Fun Fact: “I am eager to share the fun and enthusiasm of the Apex Legends competition scene with more people, and I am happy to have found such enthusiastic content.”

Reddit | Discord | Community Calendar
This aptly named subreddit is dedicated to all things on the competitive side of Apex Legends. From threads to scrim updates to meet-ups at ALGS events, this passionate community is a great place to drop in and chat whenever your competitive nature strikes.
Favorite Activation: “Beyond just talking about comp, we've also hosted community tournaments, complete with casting and prizepools!”
Fun Fact: “There from the start—the subreddit was created on the same day Apex was released.”

Reddit | Channel in Community Discord
LFG? Look no further. Whether playing casually, completing challenges, or grinding ranked, this subreddit is a great one-stop-shop to find your squadmate goals, no classified ad required. They’re also partners with the community-run Apex Legends Discord server with channels across regions and modes.
Future Activations: “Planning on holding customs events in the future, with the intention of getting people to play with other randoms and hopefully create new teams/friends because of that.”
Fun Fact: “Despite being a smaller community with only 58,000 members, we are still in the top 3% of all subreddits on reddit!”
