When will WILD HEARTS™ launch worldwide?

You will be able to join the hunt on February 17, 2023.

What platforms will WILD HEARTS be available on?

PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Origin, EA App, Steam, and Epic Games Store).

Will crossplay support be available?

Yes, WILD HEARTS supports crossplay. You’ll be able to seamlessly join two friends on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Origin, Steam, and Epic Games Store) to hunt down Kemono.

Will there be an early access trial for EA Play members?

Yes! EA Play members will be able to try WILD HEARTS starting three days prior to launch. EA Play members and Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will be able to play up to the gates of Minato starting February 13, 2023.

Is WILD HEARTS an open-world game?

It’s structured in large regions based on the four seasons, in addition to your home base (the village of Minato) and the final stage on the Sacred mountain. Each region is vast, with lots of exploring, hunting, and crafting; you will encounter loading sequences when you travel between each region.

What are Kemono?

Kemono are giant beasts that have undergone a unique evolution by fusing with nature; they have different powers that can be used to modify their environment and in combat against hunters.

What is the Karakuri?

Karakuri is an ancient technology that enables you to craft and build new, highly flexible, and creative hunting grounds to take down giant Kemono. WILD HEARTS will feature many Karakuri that you’ll be able to unlock by stocking up on materials and instantly build at will. 

The three types of Karakuri include:

• Basic Karakuri – that can assist you in exploring hunting areas and fighting Kemono
• Fusion Karakuri – that can offer protection or increased damage
• Dragon Karakuri – extra-powerful weapons and devices with special characteristics, but requiring more materials to build

Will the game be available to play online?

In WILD HEARTS, there are several multiplayer options that allow you to team up with up to two other players online to complete quests.

What is the “Multiplayer with Friends” experience?

WILD HEARTS features campfire locations where you’ll be able to “Create” or “Search” for multiplayer sessions. The game will prioritize any active and open sessions created by your platform friend, and you’ll continue to stay together through any and all content until the host decides to quit or end the session.

What are “Targeted Multiplayer Quests”?

When you start WILD HEARTS, you can begin any specific quest you want to target on the map and open it up to global multiplayer. If another player is already on that quest in open multiplayer, you’ll be able to join them. But if you’re the only player on the quest, you will start a hosted session solo and other players will join if they search for that quest.

What is the “Hunters Gate Multiplayer System”?

Hunters Gates are placed all around WILD HEARTS’s world and these act as active portals when you are online. Interacting with the Hunters Gate will show you five currently active quests that players are on, as well as quests that are most relevant to your progress through the game.

How much does EA Play cost?

EA Play is just $5.99 a month or $39.99 for a full year. EA Play Pro is $16.99 a month or $119.99 for a full year.

When will I be able to play WILD HEARTS with EA Play?

EA Play members will be able to join the hunt starting February 13, 2023 with the early access trial. They'll have 10 hours to explore Azuma (up to the gates of Minato) days before launch.

When will I be able to play WILD HEARTS with EA Play Pro?

EA Play Pro members will get access to the Karakuri Edition starting February 13, 2023 and can continue to play WILD HEARTS as long as they are members.
